Personally, I’m glad to see the change

 

I liked Ben, but it's nice to have a QB who take off and run if needed, or run a QB sneak.

 

JMO....but those are workouts I could care less seeing from My Qb. Lots of real Qb stuff He could be working on instead of that. Mahomes is the best Qb in the league at the moment....He is not working on running drills. JMO. Reminds Me of when I would see Cam Newton post videos of Him doing running drills.....I'd think.....that is the last thing You should be working on.....You focus work on weaknesses....not strengths.

 

When Ben was his age, he would take off and run when he needed to also. He kept plays alive for what seems like five minutes sometimes. He just got beaten up over the years.

So you want to always depend on Najee to grab him in the ass and push him through? JK of course, and I understand these work outs are limited by time by the league. That said I think things like this can build symmetry and bonding. KP is now the team leader, getting dirty with the guys makes him one of the guys. Do not underestimate the chemistry and pride this brings.

To be fair grabbbing Ben by the jock and pushing is a bit more difficult that KP.

Show Me Mahomes doing this RB drill. I'm sure Allen, Hurts, and Lamar do it.
