I really am sorry that you are so troubled by your poor showing on that other thread, but please don't drag your foolishness onto other threads. That's just not fair to the rest of the board. Thank you.

    Ditto.

Vick is a permanent black spot on the entire Steelers history.

A really bad look for Tomlin...Not only was he washed, He tortured and killed Dogs...I believe in second chances, but not when it comes to something like that

TJ Watt. Is a dance necessary after every sack??? Do your job. Act like you been there. If I was the opposing QB, I would hurry up and get to the line of scrimmage after being sacked and hike the ball while Watt's still up field doing his dance and draw an off-side penalty every time.

Then the Qb would take a penalty....because none of His other teammates would be lined up. This is to suggest the Qb would know what play He would be sacked on, and would require every offensive player to know He got sacked, and to get lined up before TJ could step back behind the line of scrimmage.

Nope, you talk about it before the game and you tell your offensive players if Watt sacks me, lineup asap for a spike the ball play.

And what if it was a deep pass play??? Like I said .....they would have to know ahead of time what play He would be sacked on.

No. You tell your teammates ahead of time that if Watt sacks me hurry up and lineup for a spike. Watt will still be dancing in the backfield. Five yard penalty every time.

    Ok.
So You think nobody on the D would say.....He Watt the are lining up quickly. Remember Watt doesn't have to be set...He just has to get back in time.....on the other hand the complete O must be set, or a flag. It's a great idea, bur very very hard to pull off. Especially if it's a deep pass play, and 2 to 3 Wrs are 40 yards , or more down field.

I've done it to you here many times, but honestly, I don't remember posting that I owned someone. I guess it's possible.

Again, please don't drag your whining across multiple threads. It's not fair to the rest of the board. Thank you.

Can't really "own" someone else unless the other guy cares.
Besides, I thought this thread was about steelers PLAYERS you don't like, not fans. I like all the players......

Fair point, though I will point out that I'm not the one who dragged that nonsense here. It was STD, once again showing that he very much cares.

On topic, I'm having a hard time coming up with an answer. I have plenty of company in disliking Roethlisberger. Great player. Bad guy.

I'm not sure there are any Steelers fans who like Vick now. There may have been a few then, but I do not understand how. He wasn't just washed up. He was lazy. A veteran with his experience should have been better prepared, but that was a weakness for much of Vick's career. Even he admitted as much about his time in Atlanta. He supposedly got better at it after he got out of prison, but I sure didn't see it as a Steeler. I absolutely blame Tomlin for that one. Sure, Colbert had to make the move and the Rooney family signed off on it, but I'm certain Tomlin was the one who really wanted Vick. I don't care what Vick has done or will do to try to repair his reputation. Anyone who brutalizes dogs for fun the way he did is a terrible person.

I am just trying to live up to your shining example.

I can't say I've ever noticed you before, but clearly, facts don't bother you. They don't seem to interest you at all. Have a lovely day, Woodwork.

so you get back 5 of the 7 yards you lost on the sack. plus you've worn out your WR's sprinting downfield on the play and then back onsides to spike the ball for those 5 yards, which are still a loss of 2 yards overall. Hmmmm. good thinking. if he happens to jump back onsides before you clock it you have now lost two plays and 7 yards on the sack. get the punt team ready. :smiley1::cool:

I'm not sure I dislike many Steelers players, apart from some historically like Chris Kemoeatu, David Johnson, and Vick obviously. Certainly not any that aren't disliked by many.

I would like Zach Gentry to be a bit... better. But that's about it.

I still don't trust Dionte on 3rd down in a playoff game in a must get situation. He had a drop last year on 3rd. He has gotten much better and I do like him as a Steeler. If I'm coach though I'm probably going to Pickens or Friermuth.

I know the dude is going through a lot because he almost guaranteed lost his job but Dan Moore is on the list. Again I like the guy as a backup and don't think he's trash.

Greene us trash though, at least at center. Nothing personal against him. He just isn't an NFL caliber center. Maybe he can play guard a bit who knows.

I wish everyone the best but don't 'hate' anyone.

    I actually do.

For me personally, Pittsburgh having no dedicated QB Coach to assist Mason in both his Rookie and Sophomore Campaign really let him down imo. While said position is seemingly non essential, having a good QB Coach gives that QB not just more to polish up technique wise but more tools to add to their toolbox. It is one of the few major failures of the Kevin Colbert regime that I can think of.

That said, biggest failure for not just Kevin Colbert but the entire organization is the incorrect evaluation of Kendrick Green. Dude didn't play that much as a Center at Illinois and attempted to fit square peg into round hole. Adrian Klemm also didn't assist either but mind you, that hire was an Organizational decision. Truth be told, the mere fact that Kendrick Green is still on the Steelers rosters speaks to me not just about his ability to persevere through adversity but also his tremendous work ethic and football character as a whole. Many other players within his shoes likely would have tapped out. He didn't; a major reason why I hope he does make the final 53.

If anything, I wish the OP would have stated the thread title to be "Players You Like that Everyone Else Does Not" instead. Kendrick Green tops my list. Rooting hard for him and hope he sticks.

Maybe Green still being on the roster says something about him, or maybe it says the organization is having a hard time admitting they got it wrong in that particular case.
