It was just last week that I found out what the lyrics to "Brown Sugar" are.

The only lyrics I heard clearly were Brown Sugar, how come you taste so good. I never paid attention to the rest 'cause there's only 2 songs by the Stones that I like and Brown Sugar ain't one of them.

 

Really.....the Stones have quite a few awesome tunes IMO. They also have a bunch I can't stand, but I believe more that I like then I don't. I think the song Gimme Shelter is one of the greatest songs ever.

 

For me, it's "Paint it Black" and "Sympathy for the Devil"

I hate all of the songs from their "Disco" phase. That one, Beast of Burden, Miss you......

This might be the worst of all of them!

 

So speaking of the Stones, I like a few songs, but have never really been a fan. I am one of the people that does like Paint it Black. Great song.

But in the Stones' early days, they asked the Beatles to write a song for them. So the Beatles gave them I wanna Be Your Man. Then later the Beatles recorded it. The difference in how much better the Beatles sound is really noticeable if you watch these two videos one after the other, especially at least watch through the verse chorus and the descending guitar fill.
