I think everyone realizes this was the writing on the wall Jets wanted Jones and we wanted him. And a 4th was nothing according to trade value chart.

 

Nothing new here. Happens all the time and it will continue happening.

 

Rest assured that if Belichek for a second that they would lose Gonzales he wouldn't have made the trade. He knew the Jets weren't looking for a CB (highest rated CB they met with was Julius Brents) and they knew the Commanders had a hardon for Forbes and hadn't even met with Gonzales. It was a 100% safe bet.

 

Hilarious. Just sent it to my salty Jets work mate. He’s been raging over this trade for days. Lololo….

He so mad at the 4th round pick just to twist the knife. He screamed “it was supposed to be a 3rd AND 7th!!!”

He’s salivating for the Jets to play us in the post season. Cryin about their O-line being the weak link with Rogers coming to town. Oh, it’s too good. Makes the Jones pick so much sweeter.
