John5 is a bad ass guitarist, but I wouldn't spend 10 cents to see Motley Crue play again

Ok, I why not take Andrew Vorhees with our last?

Our OL room is looking good. We still probably have Dotson for one more year, letting Vorhees take a redshirt.

You get him for almost nothing. He played LT and G for USC. Strong character guy.

He was seen as a possible late 2nd rd pick.

    EDIT:

OMG, as I was writing that, those f***ers took him! And it HAD to be Baltimore!

    He’s a Raven now.

2 late round picks in the 7th hurts.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton, big WR from West Virginia, would be a good 7th round gamble!

Cory Trice is still there. Not sure if he is a guy who can play the slot, though.

Are there any 3-4 DE’s left?

Might need to say ef it and draft a punter.

There must be an medical or character concern there.

Possibly, but that's a good way to get a decent player in the seventh round.

Brandon Hill (Safety Pitt) also could be one of our last picks. If nothing else, I could see him excelling at special teams!

Duggan is still there. That's about it. Do they still have Rudolph's number?

WR Kearis Jackson and OG Warren Ericson

In 2022 as a fifth year senior Ericson saw action in 10 games and played a total of 149 snaps for the Bulldogs. He allowed no QB hurries, no QB hits, and no sacks while playing the majority of his snaps at center, and the rest at right guard.

    SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS
    • Jackson also proved to be a force in catch-and-run situations. A violent runner who transitions upfield quickly after the catch, Jackson has the speed to pick up chunks of yardage once he’s broken the first tackle.
    • Generally reliable receiver capable of making difficult catches in traffic over the middle or one on one down the sideline.
    • He tracks the ball well downfield and consistently runs under long throws.
    • Very good hands, accepts the ball fluidly on most throws and is ready to make a play afterward. Makes catches in traffic, even going up over taller defenders with vertical and toughness.
    • Jackson combines good speed with his size, and he accelerates off the line better than most big receivers.

    SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS
    • has strong arms and a powerful grip, and Ericson displays the core strength and leg drive that allow him to create movement at the line of scrimmage.
    • Is effective when asked to pull, showing the agility, speed, and overall range to get out as a lead blocker, where he locates defenders and shows the ability to adjust and land blocks against linebackers.
    • Coordinated when moving to the second level as a run blocker, capable of landing blocks on the move.
    • Plays with natural leverage and has the strength to anchor against the bull rush. Ericson also packs a violent initial punch that can stand up pass rushers.
    • Solid positional run blocker who flashes the nasty demeanor and killer instinct scouts covet.

Good minds think alike! Just saw yours after my post, fingers crossed! His speed at 4.3 and size at 6-4, 221 is intriguing!

Hill is a great example of what is good and what is awful about Pitt's defenses. He is aggressive and physical, but he gets fooled way too often.

Yeah, I was watching some of him last week. Really good run stuffer. Pretty good athlete.

Surprised he's still there actually, didn't realize he was. Haven't been watching since 2 oclock.

Yeah, you can't go wrong with that size and speed, especially this late in the draft. They also had him in for a pre-draft visit, so he could be the pick!
