ON PAPER, they could not have played this draft any better. 10/10.

Likely an ILB with the capability to play some OLB on pass rushing downs.

It does kill two birds with one stone but within the same vein... Steelers still need a Nickel. Still a major need for the team.

He played mainly outside, but doesn't mean that's what they will do, but if He's just good at that....it would be worth it just for good rotation.

Somewhere in the world SDOT is feverishly researching ways to paint this draft as an abject failure and claiming that not drafting DK Metcalf years ago has led to this result.

Herbig said teams were telling him ILB will be his position in the NFL.

First poor pick by the Steelers. A skinny framed linebacker.

Bring on the 7th round, man. Normally I have no interest in that round since they usually seem to treat that as a throw away pick, I mean some real head scratchers there but freaking Khan, he’s not throwing those picks away, he’ll be going for the best possible guys.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but they drafted every position that Tomlin and Omar mentioned as having great depth in their presser? DL, CB, OL, TE and LB.

It really is a good pick, One can speculate, but even if they do sign Alex, this kid has 4 years here. By that time who knows what TJ has left? Sure its all speculation, but we got him.

Herbig was Daniel Jeremiah's best available player in the 4th round FWIW.

Yeah I didn't get that at all either. I think this kid was good value at this point

Sorry, 4.65 40 for that frame is not particularly good. I don't like the pick. Don't like his athleticism for that frame. Yasir Abdullah is a better pick.

This draft is how you lay the foundation for a deep playoff run. I can't express how happy I am with these picks.
