All this positive energy is nice. The optimism is high.

Then you remember, Matt Canada is still here.:puking 3:

Back in Feb I was down and out about the division being so tough in that the Steelers can actually go 10 and 7 and not make the playoffs.

But watching what management is building injected a new found belief that the Steelers are already competitive and building a foundation that can take on the divisional teams strengths.

That would work. Also, Duggan seems to be the kind of player who could excel on special teams. It would be interesting to have your 3rd QB be an ST standout.

Love the huge TE. Has me thinking back to Brees/Antonio Gates, who used to torture the Steelers. Plus, the guy is a great blocker. I've read where he embraces that part of the TE position, that he takes great pride in it. Yes, there are concerns. There are concerns about every pick. However, the potential with he and Freiermuth is dizzying. I love the potential of this line turning in to a unit of strength for this team once again. There's so much they can do with this kid right away, especially in short yardage. Bring him in to block as a sixth lineman, or will he leak out, post up and present a very large target for KP? I love it. I feel like Tony Montana the first time he saw Elvira.

Although the TE pick was an intriguing and sexy pick, I don't believe it was a need only a luxury. IMO should have gone LB or safety. We have Zero depth at olb and really don't know what you have at ILB with also no depth...Kenny and the offense has a ton of tools, only thing holding it back is Canada. Wasn't that long ago we had a prolific offense and we were loosing games 42 -38

While you’re correct we have needs at ilb, safety, and depth at olb the first two are really weak classes. We are far better off getting a steal in the 3rd like Washington then reaching for a player that just isn’t very good.

You would think but look how many times the kicker affects the game. Better turn out to be a damn good pro to take one that high. That kid is pretty good though.

Who we want in Rd.4? Best remaining includes Adebawore, Herbig, To'oTo'o, Antonio Johnson, Daniel Scott, Ringo, Phillips, Rush, Terell Smith is another good press corner, Tyler Scott, Roschon Johnson.

Should be some interesting QBs later: Haener, Thompson-Robinson, Bennett, Duggan, McKee, O'Connell

There were a few players that went before the Washington pick would have helped us more, like the centers, safeties, and inside linebackers. It will be interesting though, Washington will cause a lot of matchup nightmares.

I bet we target OLB in one of the next two rounds.

I wonder if Tuli Tuipulotu was on the Steelers radar at all? That guy looks like a young Cam Heyward.

Not going to happen that would take away an active roster spot from another position that's more needed.

He had 5 TDs in his first 3 games as a Steeler, was a HUGE target for Bubby Brister!
