Will be something to monitor for certain. He is a bit taller than other TEs... minus Zach Gentry on the team. Hopefully the Medical Staff can assist him out; Training Staff too.

Literally got a late 1st/early 2nd round guy in the late 3rd round. I'm ecstatic over this draft class.

Long gone are the days of watching the likes of Ebron trying to block.

Gentry was really coming along too. Him and Pat had a little thing going on and it seemed like they were improving together. Does this mean Derek Watt is not coming back and Conner is the sole FB type on the team? No way they have 3 TE and Conner active on game day.

Thats how I saw him, too. I think 3rd rd is right where he should have gone but his combine pushed him up the boards. Maybe medicals has nothing to do with it and this is just where teams had him ranked. Hopefully.

At absolute minimum he’s a red zone monster as a blocker and huge target. At pick #93 anything else is just gravy.

We’re going to be better this year at scoring TDs instead of FGs in the red zone.

Shoot, imagine a two TE set and Nate Herbig in there as a 6th linemen in goal line sets.... our boy Harris is going to gain some yards this year.

I don’t think enough is being made of us getting the combo of these two Georgia teammates being drafted who lined up next to each other frequently on their 2x title teams.

THAT is fantastic! Two guys who can bro down and support each other during the growing pain transition and through camp and stuff.

You know how people talk about O-line players having to gel and know what the other guy next to him does? That loop is closed here with these monsters.

I was okay with us drafting him at 32, then again at 49, then I fell asleep and found out we drafted him at 93. wow, best draft in a long, long time.

Bowers is more wide receiver than tight end

So freaking happy the Steelers were able to draft him. I’ve been hoping and praying(so to speak) for months it would happen

Has foot issues/ knees. But with Gentry only on a one year deal it was a no brainer where they got him. He is freakin HUGE! And mauls! Like having another tackle out there with hands!

He addressed the medical talk. I believe him. I always felt he was a 3rd rd guy. He had a great combine and as usual that drove him up fans and analytics boards but teams know. Most of the TE’s went lower than people thought. You always find out their true rank during the draft.

Just having Washington on the field in the RZ spreads the field. Absolutely jacked about our future.
