    Yep.

While Matt Groh, the Director of Player Personnel had recently been on record in stating that the Patriots keep keeps on all divisional opponents and not just their own, me and you both know damn well Knox that Belichick initiated that trade on purpose. :lolol: Clearly he saw what life would be like if someone like Broderick Jones would defend the blindside for a HOF Caliber QB like Aaron Rodgers.

For New England, it was all about picking the lesser of two evils. Better for Pittsburgh to have BJ than New York.

Living in Georgia this has received a lot of coverage. They were all drunk, leaving the strip joint at 2am and racing on the streets of a college town which means narrow streets. It was really, really stupid. and 2 people died.

It may mean nothing about how good of a player Jalen Carter becomes but it was bad.

What don’t you get about he was RACING THEM! How does that decision not contribute to their deaths? No race and they are alive. It’s not difficult.

Whatever, glad the lazy punk isn’t a Steeler.

Well it’s his first season so yeah. You are the only one that seems to not notice he is different from Colbert. It’s ok, don’t be afraid, change can be good.

I certainly like what I have seen from Khan so far. From the Claypool trade through the picks and the trade he made on Day 2, he has done a great job.

So yeah, one season vs 22. I am the ONLY one? Someone else corrected you early in this thread. I provided FACTS. So I am not the only one.

Khan learned everything he knows about being a GM/pres from Colbert. Why would I be afraid? That's your best shot? You don't make sense with this comment. I've witnessed change from the Steelers over the years. One thing certain in life is constant change.

Your stance was "new approach". I provided FACTS to show that it wasn't a new approach. Whatever helps you "get excited" or helps you to sleep better at night regarding the Steelers.

You want to talk about a new approach for PGH teams? How about the Pirates handing out their 1st 100 mill contract. Now that is something NEW.

No my guy, your facts just highlighted how few moves Colbert made during all his time here.

And yes you seem to be the only one to not see the difference between Colbert and Khan. It’s ok, change is hard on some, you’ll get used to it.

This is an absolutely epic draft, and Omar Khan is proving to be a wheeling and dealing monster.... After getting us back into the 4th Rd, we still have a few holes to fill... Getting that viable backup in the Old rotation... A dynamic option at ILB... A 3rd QB..... Does he trade back a little and get us back into the 5th or 6th??? ..... We have a bit of a logjam at some positions like D-line and WR.... Is someone a trade candidate , or all of the above????. Khan has shown that he's willing and able to pull the trigger and I personally couldn't be more excited.... Omar Khan has put his stamp on the team in short order and I hope he's around for a very long time

Trade Dotson for a 4th or 5th rounder. Kahn made us from having a weak and shallow O-line to a powerful and deep one in a single off season!!!

Damn glad to see it. KC proved it could be done in a single season with the right emphasis on the OL in FA and draft. I like the direction we are headed in!

Love this draft, now if we can get our OC to make some magic and get away from Saturdayish plays, we may have something.

I personally do not see the log jam at WR, D line maybe, but the only one I would trade is Loudermilk and that is not going to get you much if anything. The only trade that might be worth any value is Dotson, and what are you going to get..a 6th??? He may be cut after training camp, but with injuries rampant I think he is worth t 6th round pick to keep around.

Definitely not a logjam at wr imo. Outside of Johnson,Pickens, and Robinson we are pretty thin. That’s assuming Robinson can play an entire season

I am not has hardcore as the group here when it comes to the draft but it appears like Omar Khan (OK) doesnt just look at what is 5 inches in front of his face but years ahead!

I would not be shocked if he will be scanning the waiver wire in Sept for some temporary stops gaps in cases where the practices still found some vulnerabilities or weaknesses or guys not developing quick enough or injuries.

Sure...busts and injuries happen but just like most...I am legit excited on paper with the starters and depth like I was in the 90s.

Do they really have a log jam at wr though? They’ve got DJ, Pickens, and picked up Robinson for a year coming off of an injury. There’s question marks after that. They let Sims go and they still don’t know what they’ve got in Austin.

DJ, Pickens, A-Rob, Austin, Boykin, Miller, Gunner.....
Looks like a logjam to me

Too soon to give up on Austin. His college film was really good, including giving Sauce Gardner fits.

I know that, but he’s shown exactly nothing in the nfl. Not even a single snap to his name. There are thousands of players that have had really good college tape and done nothing at the professional level. We are counting chickens before they hatch with him.

Perspective. We’re talking about a guy who will start out at 4th or lower on the WR depth chart, and we’ve still got a vet slot/return guy in Gunnar that he will compete with. If we grab someone else to replace him now, we are basically giving up on him because he was injured last year. Austin will essentially be coming in like a new draft pick, but with the benefit of being in the building for a year.

None of the guys we took over the last few days have a single NFL snap to their credit either. If we take a WR today, same thing.

It's only a logjam if you think all those guys are at the same talent level.

I'm sure DJ will still find a way to improve on the historic touchdowns he had last season.

I’m not saying give up on the guy, but we are far from having a logjam at wr. Robinson hasn’t played a full season in 3 years(?). Gunner is meh as a wr and Austin is an unknown commodity. Pickens or Johnson go down and we are more than likely struggling.
