argh totally missed the start of the draft so cool we got porter.

 

I would be very happy with that pick, though Branch would be my first option if he somehow lasts that long.

Porter Jr has a great chance at being really good. Now I really like bringing in P. Peterson. He can teach Him a lot

Damn 10 picks to go seems forever. Imagine getting Branch, we could have a helluva secondary.

 

Agree, too early at 17 and not getting an OT. Right now, I am very happy with the two picks. Now if they get a good LB or another top CB with next pick, then lights out draft. Sanders, Simmons, Brents, C Smith? I can only hope.

If they go DL or OLB thats fine too. I forgot about Branch, but surely he'll be gone, but if not...cool.

So his liabilities are that he's sometimes grabby and sometimes struggles to locate the ball. That's gotta be cleaned up.

 

I think at worst he is Ike Taylor 2.0 which I would be very happy with.

 

I want a thumper at the safety position we already have Minka's backup in Kazee.

I would take Sydney Brown at #80 if he was there.

 

I'm surprised Mingo lasted this long.

 

Also more than one scout noted other teams tended to stop throwing in his direction. That speaks volumes and could explain lower stats (passes deflected, interceptions), but one negative is he is no ball hawk. Very Ike Taylor-ish. That would be acceptable, though I hope he doesn't have the same "hands of stone" that Ike had.

 

Grabby was My only problem when watching Him, but that can be fixed.

 

He has the skills but wasn’t NFL ready. The Titans threw him into the fire too soon. I think he’s salvageable. Seattle may be a good landing spot for him

 

Pretty simple really. Hooker is a poor man’s Levis without that fugly orange

 

I really think we are sitting at taking anyone.

 

Can someone explain why;
A. People go to watch the draft? Seems boring as **** to wait for your team to be relevant once every 32 picks
B. Cheer widely for players their teams draft who they have no clue about?

I just watch Panthers fans cheer for a wide receiver from Ole Miss. I can guarantee that in 5 minutes 90% of the people cheering won’t remember the receiver”s name.

 

If His low end is Ike....I will take that in a minute.

 

But yesterday you were saying we're going to have nothing but old and average CBs .

 

I don’t know if Taysom Hill 1.0 is worth a 7th

I also thought Porter Jr, and Cam Smith would be gone already.

 

Schmidt or Tippman would be nice, but if Branch or Drew Sanders is there, I think I'd take one of those guys.
