It's not like the Steelers offense has been great this season anyways.

Too many injuries on the O to see any consistency.
Next year would have been real telling if Haley and players have gelled.

I do not like it ...........

that being said there will be a few good offensive minds on the open market this off season ....

Norv Turner ( sucks as a HC but very good OC )

Whiz would then be gone from the Cards and looking for work ......

Chan Gailey may be out in Buffalo .....

I don't want to see Haley leave...the team has gotten eaten up by injuries this year....

But, you kind of figured Haley would be a top candidate somewhere, wouldn't be surprised if he leaves.

Anything's possible, but Haley is having a new house built in Upper St. Clair, so that does lead one to believe he's planning on sticking around for a while. He's said he's very happy being OC here, but who knows what his aspirations are.

    LOL at the injury excuse.

That didn't fly under the last regime.

Nah, what team would be dumb enough to hire a guy who's a good coordinator but a pretty bad head coach? Besides the Redskins, Raiders and Chargers?

As President of the I love Todd Haley club I can tell you all that Haley has told me nothing of this. I'm certain if there was any weight to this he would've told me. This is just wishful thinking on their part. I will keep you guys posted about all the things me and Haley talk about and if this comes up I will let you guys know.

I'm not sure about whether the Haley rumour amounts to anything, but... do think that Whiz would ever come back here? I always got the sense that he was pretty pissed about not getting the HC job here. Can't see him working under Tomlin.

I actually have nothing against the other two coming, but as I say, not sure Haley is going anywhere.

And if BFT says it ain't so, I'm not one to argue...

i like hailey would be a disgrace to change another offensive cordinator expecially now that he just started his work

As Speaker of the house (3rd in line) and knowing Todd since about 7th grade I think it's about time we had a talk. Maybe I should call him to have lunch and jab him with a fork to show he really bleeds Black N Gold.

Beat me to it. If Haley does leave, I want Norv here. Whiz would be interesting from a stand point that unlike all the Haley/Ben angst, Whiz and Ben really don't get along.

I want Haley to stay. But if he goes I'd like Norv. However I think ole' JJ in Dallas is going to scoop him up with the quickness...along with Sean Payton too.

I don't see Payton leaving the Saints, I think it's killing him watching what happened to that team this year, I bet he's itching to make them a force again next season.

They've been talking about it on NFL Radio. NFL voided his contract and they've been talking but no deal yet. Evidently Payton is from Dallas, still lives there, and got his start there. They speculated that JJ could throw a bunch of $$ at him to come home.

Never know, money talks. He'd actually make Dallas good again, assuming Jones doesn't stick his nose in it too much.

That will never happen. JJ himself is the cause of a lot the problems they have now.

Peyton is involved with another one of the Saints owners teams, basketball maybe?? Hes not going anywhere.

if he is given permission to leave for a better job :IE OC to HC he is owed nothing upon departure ...

if he is let go and then takes another job he is paid for both jobs unless a prior settlement is reached upon termination of his former team

this is all contingent upon contract language some have perimeters built in while others do not
