I am not at all surprised that the Ravens are falling apart. I saw it coming. Problem is, the Steelers may be incapable of capitalizing on it.

 

Somehow I don't feel that bad about the 19-31 loss at Denver earlier this year ... 31-3 for Denver at Baltimore ...

 

I'm looking for a good old fashioned smash mouth Steeler type of game. With the ratbirds looking at a loss , what more incentive do we need. If we can't answer the bell today, then I don't know what else to say.

 

I never felt bad about that loss. Saw that one coming the day the schedules were released.

That was a 'good' loss considering the circumstances and it was actually much closer than the 31-19 score.

Watching the Ravens/Broncos game I can honestly say that when I tell people that every team in the NFL gets up to the Steelers it is the truth. I mean Eric Dekker is a good receiver but Williams bit on that double move hard, where was that versus the Steelers? The Bronco's defense is one of the best in the league and they are getting pressure with and hits on Flacco with 5 guys yet that line was holding up versus the likes of Harrison and Woodley. It is a great game to watch but makes me wish the Steelers weren't everyone's Superbowel.

 

I'm not so sure the Broncos aren't better than the Patriots right now. Steelers have a ways to go this year to look as good as those two look right now. But, just get in the playoffs and see what happens, one bad game and you go home.

I don't believe anyone views us as their SB anymore, except maybe the Ravens. Teams don't view us any differently than any other mediocre to good team in the league. Our pass rush couldn't get to Flacco because we don't have a pass rush.

All kidding aside, who makes that call? Here in Ohio I was not really surprised by the switch, but in Pittsburgh I would have thought the local station would have stayed for the very reason Bobby states.

 

Not a Steelers fan though.
