There were some people who were looking for all the signings in one spot with a quick glance. I would have done this sooner but didn’t think about editing my own post on the top of this thread.

I’ll update it as more moves come in if any.

My comments were not about you or this thread. My comments were directed at how I tried to make a thread where it was all at, because a few of us wanted to see who was signed without flipping for pages. Yet a couple people wanted to ruin it intentionally, to where it needed to be removed.

If I could have locked and unlocked my thread, I would have done that.

I remember wanting to grab Watts in a later round of his draft to be depth behind Heyward and Tuitt. He could push someone like Loudermilk off the roster. If he ends up playing >25% of defensive snaps, that’s not a good thing. We still need to add quality to go with the quantity we’re accumulating on the DL.

True, but Higgins isn't your normal No. 2. He really is good enough to be a No. 1. He showed signs of developing into that his rookie season, before Chase arrived.

Can we now say that Omar and Andy are revamping this team and putting the Steelers in the best position to win now?! The wheelin n dealin of the draft will be the cherry on the top! Not to mention ... the sprinkles of udfa that may be signed. I'm getting excited again!

Funny, Are we just cleaning out this Agents Inventory?

All 3 of the last signings have been from Agent David Canter. Watts, Neal and Fehoko. Did somebody say Blue Light special? I wonder if he threw in a pair of steak knives with this 3 player deal?

White is probably trying to pull a Roquan Smith, demand a trade so his new team will give him a new contract.

No, I know. Was just explaining to STD that there were more people than you looking for a tidy list all in one spot.

You know, I’ve had my criticisms of Tomlin from a coaching perspective, but from a human perspective I think the guy’s top notch. I understand why players want to play for him. I just hope he can put it all together from a coaching perspective and bring home a couple more Lombardis before he moves on.

Is there something you need to talk about? I clearly didn't see there was another thread. I looked at the top 10 and posted.

I hate drama But we used to be fine. We discussed going to the game together in Atlanta. but ever since i made the other thread to have all the moves in one place, you've been very negative and taking junk towards me.

I made that thread because a few people were asking to see all the moves without seeing all the talk. (Which is nothing against this thread).

This goes into one of the other convos and threads regarding Tomlin.

People might not like bringing it up and it’s often the elephant in the room that people try to or pretend to ignore, but one thing that I think that Tomlin brings that no other coach in the league does or can do for a while is - that black players specifically want to play for a well respected and longest tenured black coach. That is an asset whether people like it or not. Personally I love that reality. Use it. And I’m betting Tomlin and players alike do talk to a greater or lesser degree behind closed doors and possibly even in locker rooms. It’s mostly ignored in the media because people are probably uncomfortable with it because it can go south even though it shouldn’t. It’s a factor and an element.

I don’t disagree with that but isn’t Fehoko Samoan? It’s well documented that multiple white players have said the same thing about playing for Coach Tomlin as well.

I know that Ben was big on talking to new players because that was what Bettis did for him and so he passed it on. I think it is a culture around the Steelers because from the Rooneys to the coaching staff to the players, they really care about individuals and making them feel welcomed and less about what they can help the team do. Contrast that with that horrible mess in Jacksonville two years ago where there was no respect given to anyone.

Sure. The dude gets lots of respect for a lot of reasons. People respect his charisma, tenure, experience, record, genuine personality and interactions. The list goes on.

But I also think for black players specifically and players of color to another degree, with the lack of coaches who resemble them that they want to be a part and contribute to his legacy. Something intangible that carries weight.
