Best available at CB or OT. So I'll go CB, but if a better OT is available at 17 than a corner, they go OT IMO.

No one. They don't get the card up in time 17 consecutive times. Indecision rules the roost!

I said DL. My guess as to what we will do will makes heads explode, including mine. I think we take Bresee at #17, which may pay off in the long run, but probably not in 2023. Then, we once again draft a corner based on physical traits instead of on-field performance on tape and take Ringo at #32.

I`m going back to original thought and voted OT.

I see some are thinking CB, but I just don`t see it happening. We tend to pick conservatively with our first pick.

Maybe CB with second pick. However, if I had to vote on second pick I would probably say DT.

Pretty spot on. I look at who they signed to correct obvious immediate needs, but most of those signed were short term contracts. CB is the most glaring, but nearly every other position DL, edge, ILB, S, T, even TE and WR (both far less immediate) are something that need depth and addressed for quality starter in the near future. We tend to look at first round as plug and play and that may be the case, but if that one guy is there and they see him as the best none of those positioned mentioned would surprise me. We might explode as you say, but long term vision is more important than short term fix. It's always a crap shoot, but with 4 picks in the top 100, I hope they hold, or trade down a few and get another 4th or 5th.

I'd be stoked. Seal off that blindside for Kenny and lets go.

Wouldn't be shocked at it personally; hence why he is still one of my options. The major reason he is three is due to the fact that certain teams like Philly LOVE their Lineman. In addition, given how out of whack the Jalen Carter situation has become, who is to say that will bump up Bresee up the boards?!

That said, if all options are off on the table in terms of both OT and CB by pick 17, Bresee could be in play should he still be there. Lukas Van Ness is also a potential option as both Tomlin and Kahn made the trip to the Iowa Pro Day; something that never happened during the 2010s with both Tomlin and Colbert.

This isn't saying Ringo can't ever become a good CB..this is saying that there are many CBs already better than Him....why swim up river???

Man I’m cool with CB OT LB DL as long as none of those are a reach.

    I say OT

I know CB is an issue, but the 2nd most important position on offense is the LT. I'm really hoping they are able to land a top flight OT, even if they have to move up. Protect QB1 at all costs.

Don't get me wrong, CB is a definite need. But, I think it can be addressed in the 2nd round. I'm hoping they can address it asap after an OT.

    My two cents.

    Happy Easter, all.

Best CB or OT available. Preferably CB. When does Jalen Carter go? Would the Steelers draft him if he falls this far?

I think it’s likely Porter unless he is either gone or Johnson or Jones is there and they go LT

Honestly, with the exception of QB and RB, I think all options will be on the table on 27 April 2023. The consensus says OT or CB, but I wouldn't be surprised at DL, WR, or even Edge. I personally go OT, but this is relatively unpredictable when I look at this. I wouldn't be surprised if we wait until 80 to go CB. We probably take CB in the 2nd, if not first.

No 6th round pick this year, we had to resign him.
