That would explain how Lamar Jackson slipped so far down the draft that He wasn't even His own teams 1st pick....

I see you’re continuing your Pickett related trolling. I know you love citing to the opinions of players and former players, and Rich Gannon (a league MVP) likes Pickett better than any of the QBs in this class. I disagree, but I hope he’s right and I’m wrong.

You know as well as I do that Carolina didn’t move up for Anderson. But maybe they should have. Is there a single player in this draft that has a higher probability of being a big time impact player in the NFL? I don’t think so. He has 10-year All Pro written all over him.

I would take KFP over every Qb coming out , but two this year. Does that mean they will, or won't be good???? No it just means I wouldn't take them in the 1st.

I've had this nagging feeling for days now that we'll draft Kelee Ringo at 32.

I can't seem to shake the feeling :(

And Steve Young said Brock Purdy was like Patrick mahomes.

But on this particular point where you have the league saying one thing and a player saying another is different then someone on this board trying to discredit what a player said. The league is telling you they value young or stroud far more then they valued Pickett evidenced by what happened with he draft and what will happen in the draft in terms of where players are selected. But again I don't even think that will happen cause the top qbs don't get picked high anymore based on last yr.

I generally don’t put much stock in what current and former players say when it comes to talent evaluation. The fact that someone can play the game at a high level doesn’t confer some sort of innate ability to evaluate talent and knowledge of how to build a cohesive, winning roster. Hell, there are a huge number of great current and former players who can barely form coherent sentences, and some of them get TV gigs. Now, if someone who was a key member of a successful front office says something, well now that person has my attention.

yeah, he's not getting out of the first round. Browns probably snap him up to line up with Jack.

I think it would be a different position at 17. OT, DT, TE, WR is my guess.

Well, it would really depend on the first pick. If Peezy Jr. is there at 17, you can cross Ringo off the board at 32. If we take an OT or any other position Ringo is in play for sure. There are other CB's we're entertaining that could be in the 32 range (Banks, Brents, etc.). There are a lot of ways the draft can break. I wouldn't get too hung up on it. Especially for our second pick.

He also wasn't the first qb taken either like a guy I know last yr taken at 20. Qb needy teams passed on lamar for other qbs. Not other non qbs. Big difference.

But no one here is someone who was a successful nfl front office person so that's the problem. I never said a paid scout, analyst, aficionado, front office member, etc.. people that get paid to do those type of things didn't have the ability to criticize the opinion of a player nor call in the integrity of their take. That's not anyone here.

They did and again he wasn't the best qb in his class like someone from last yr. That's the difference lol that you keep failing to point out. You'd have a point if he was the number 1 ranked qb and no team took a qb until Baltimore did at 32nd. He was the 3rd ranked qb in his class. Not the first. He also wasn't touted as "pro ready". He was considered a project.

The ones who get paid to talk about sports and not you? And the people who vote on nfl awards that voted him the mvp? And the players who play against him that voted him the best player in the nfl? I'd take what all those people think over you.

Yeah the same Guys who are so smart they can't speak in complete sentences, have been fired for terrible stuff they've done ...from drugging women to sleep with them to beating on women. You mean those guys??? LoL.
You don't think very much do You. So since I get paid to play Guitar...., and those Guys that talk sports don't.....Does that mean none of them can play Guitar???? By the $hit You spout that would mean no..., but I'm not that dumb.....I realize just because they are not getting paid for it....doesn't mean that they can't do it. Use the brain God gave You for more than balancing Your head.

A guitar is something you learned how to do. That's not some God given athletic ability you have that you can't reach like alot of these nfl guys have.

And you're talking about a selection few guys that did thos ratings. Not the entire nfl. The entire Cleveland browns organization who you continue to act like you're smarter then didn't do all those things and you only mentioned things PLAYERS did. The scouts, front office executives, coaches, etc.. all didn't do those things you named and you've acted like you know more then all these people.

Again....You show Your ignorance. I can do a lot of things on the Guitar most people that play can't....because of a God given ability. Don't believe Me....Go get You 5 Guitar players, and point them My way, and they will tell You the same. It doesn't make Me better, but it makes Me do things most can't.
Also Yeah players just are born knowing how to play football.....LoL....You are quite slow. I played with a two time SB winning Wrs, and I promise You He wasn't born knowing how to play Football. LoL
