Strange that no one has posted anything at all in the Bill Nunn draft room for the last 17 hours, especially with the Steelers on the clock.

    Sorry for the delay guys.

Looks like Bresee has the votes, barely, by 1 vote.

With just 3 more picks until the Steelers selection, I'll start the voting process.....

I think it's time to bring in some competition for Dan Moore.....
If he's not taken in the next 3 picks, then my official vote goes to BYU OT Blake Freeland....

Freeland is 6'8" and at only 302 lbs, has room to add more bulk..... He also is ultra athletic and reminds me of Al Villanueva in his prime..... Unlike AV though, Freeland doesn't need to be converted to the position, and has the ability to take the starting LT spot no later than yr 2

I'm torn between Freeland and Bergeron for the Packers. Haha.

As far as OT there I like Jordan McFadden from Clemson and also Zion Nelson from Miami. The Steelers still need an edge rusher and Keion White from Georgia Tech is still available. I really like the strong safety from Penn State, Ji Ayir Brown. The last 2 seasons he has amassed 120 tackles and 10 interceptions. If you think we need a TE then Sam Laporta from Iowa would be a good choice. At WR there are still Jonathan Mingo, Jayden Reed and Charlie Jones among many others still on the board. If you want to double dip at CB, Emmanuel Forbes and Julian Brents are very talented corners. Many directions to go for the Steelers at #80.

I view it simply as a starting LT is more important than a #3 edge.

    Vote Nominate/vote Nelson Miami

Nelson was a 4 year starter at LT for the U and is considered one of the best pass blocking tackles in the draft. He has an incredible 84" wingspan being 6'5" and weighing 316. What drops him down in the draft is that he is only an average run blocker. He is a great technician in the pass game but doesn't use his size the way he should in the run game but he just turned 22 and will only get stronger. The good thing is he already has the technique down pat.

i vote and nominate Tuli Tuipulotu DL USC

OLB for us. Cant assume Bud Dupree is coming back. And our defense really missed Watt when he went down.

Obviously, I have my Steelers GM hat on currently, where Iron sharpens Iron.

    Signed Omar Epps.

While I don't believe the Steelers will take 4 defensive players with their first four picks, I am voting for another Penn St. secondary player,
    Ji'Ayir Brown, S.

I'm voting Ji' Ayir Brown also. His productivity is just too much to ignore. Brown is an aggressive tackler and a ball hawk from the strong safety position.

It took some searching to find out but yes after injuring his knee late in the season, Zion Nelson has decided to return to the Hurricanes for a 5th season.

There are still several draft sites that have him in on it. I guess they didn't get the word either.

I think it has to be a strong safety. I see a couple of votes for Ji’Ayir Brown. He’s not my favorite, so I’ll throw a couple more out there: Jammie Robinson from FSU and JL Skinner of Boise State.

Nope, Sydney Brown is still available. He had a heck of a senior year at with 6 picks.
