I don't recall that because I've pointed out how people on this board think they know more or just as much as people who have played or being paid in some type of role nfl wise.

Pats have just said thanks but no thanks

Lamar might be bagging groceries with Mason next fall

At this point I doubt Baltimore would even offer him what they offered last year

Lamar has created too much animosity

There are definitely people on this board who know more about the business side and contract negotiation than most NFL players

I am not buying that Bill Belichick said anything to a reporter about Lamar.

I see where Kraft said it is Bills Decision and that sounds right.

But, I see where Bill actually says something....But definitely not "No Thanks"
“I’m not going to talk about players on any other team,” Belichick said to the reporter.
LOL... How did this statement by Bill get translated to mean the Patriots are not interested?

I am reading that the Patriots are out on Lamar and I am just wanting to know who they are quoting for a source. You yourself posted "Pats have just said thanks but no thanks" Who said this?

The Owner did not say the Patriots were Out; he just passed the buck straight to Bill.

And we all know that Bill would never say Yes, or No when asked about any of his plans.

Yeah, but this time I am on the other side. I am wanting you or anyone else to provide your source of who on the Patriots said they are not interested in Lamar Jackson?

And don't get me wrong because I am reading this all over the place, but no one out there is actually saying who they spoke to in the Patriots organization.

We know for a fact the Owner was contacted by Lamar's buddy, We know for a fact the Kraft said this is Bill's decision, and we know for a fact that Bill Belichik did not say "Jack" to any reporter.

And I think I got my Meek Mills and Robert Kraft info from TMZ. They were the ones that were able to connect the dots from Lamar Jackson to Meek Mills to Robert Kraft for me.

Don’t look at me. I couldn’t care less about Jackson, his contract, or any team that may or may not have an interest in him.

It’s funny, nobody is interested in doing a deal with him. Teams have been willing to part with lots of draft capital AND big dollars to get a franchise QB in recent years, yet nobody will part with lesser compensation of only (2) 1st round picks. Arthur Blank mentioned the injury risk inherent in his playing style, but what he didn’t say, but is evident in that statement is that the Falcons don’t think he can be a franchise QB without playing that style. There is no collusion. If anyone wanted him at a franchise QB pay level, they would be happy to negotiate a deal that the Ravens won’t match, and then give up just (2) 1st round picks (less than the Watson and Wilson hauls).

The reality is that teams all know that he CAN’T be a winning QB without being a runner first, and they aren’t going to sink their franchises by giving up picks and a ton of guaranteed comp for him and take the injury risk. Teams know who he is, and they’re saying “no thanks.” Not because of collusion (they’d happily poach him from the Ravens), but because they don’t value him any higher than the Ravens do.

Anyone that has watched football for over 40 years knows they try this running Qb stuff out about every 15 years, and always go back to the tried, and true.
Being able to run as a Qb is awesome, but only if You can play from the pocket 1st. Otherwise once the legs are gone, or You lose speed You are done. It's really that simple.
You, Me, and My cats know Lamar Jackson couldn't even play with the injuries Pat Mahomes played with in the playoffs, and Superbowl let alone win a game that way. I can't believe people even argued with Me before about how good Lamar was.
