As far as the draft goes to solve the issue, I want 1st pick to be OT before filling those "holes" on defense as much as possible with the draft.

What happens if the top 3 OT’s are off the board by our pick in the first round? Do you still want an OT?

agree with the priority of filling the needs of OL, ILB and CB.

I think a third viable OLB needs to found this offseason as well, to keep the pass rush from falling off a cliff if/when Watt gets hurt

why does everyone assume TJ will get hurt? last year has never happened before to him. 15 out of 16 the two years prior to that. before that 16 out of 16 for his first two years. pretty durable.

i'd sign tae crowder back. pick up one of the many good free agent ILB'ers. keep myles jack. we have robinson as a draft pick from last year. this should be a pretty decent group then.

roche is a draft pick that now has two years of nfl experience under his belt. possibly we draft a late round guy.

sign sutton back. draft a CB somewhere in the draft.

sign kazee back. draft a safety.

draft a DT. possibly get another in free agency.

draft an interior OL. draft an OT as depth, we need one.

    draft another TE.

7 draft picks. also bring back guys that play a lot and can fill holes as either depth or part time starters.

not tons of holes to fill really. a couple of sign backs and we could fill many of those.

It’s not assuming he will get hurt it’s guarding against if he does because of what he means to the team. Their record is abysmal without him.

I don't assume He will get Hurt, but He ,and Highsmith do need breaks, and it would be nice to see a player be able to fill that role.....because right now almost every time they are not out there.....You can definitely tell.

We are awfully thin behind Watt and Highsmith. Honesty, I don’t remember the guy who filled in when Watt was out last year. This is an area that needs to be addressed. In a 17-game season, a lot can go wrong

What is wrong with Peterson and Wallace as our starting CBs next year?

I liked the way Walace looked at the end of the season getting more comfortable with the Defense with every game, and Peterson still looked good in Minesota last year. Wallce turned out to be a great pickup from Buffalo last year; he is just now entering his prime.

What is with all the sky is falling stuff about the CB position?

Wallace is probably better suited to be the #3 CB, they don't have good depth at the position, they need to draft a young guy to be their #1 CB.

Oh, don't get me wrong, Levi Wallace does not have the speed to ever be a #1 Shutdown CB, but he can be a damn good #2.

I think he will pair well with Peterson this year.

You are also making the assumption that Peterson will be at least as good as he was last year, which at his age is no guarantee. Also as steelersrule6 said, there is simply no depth at that position.

The only glaring hole at the moment is CB. There’s no way they don’t draft one high (first 3 picks).

ILB, OT and DL are all needs - but they have guys now who ‘can’ start. Doesn’t mean those starters are amazing, but they can do the job. They absolutely need depth at all 3 of those positions though.

Having those two as the starters would be ok I think. But they need a solid slot CB if they’re moving Wallace outside. CB is the weakest position on the team. Fortunately this is a deep CB draft, so they can get away with taking one in the second round if an OT, DL or ILB they love falls to them at 17.
