I don’t see any way Green makes the cut. Not sure he even belongs on an NFL roster.

Last year we were smoked 3 or 4x? (just guessing), several of our losses were 3 to 7 points. Not saying we should have won, but the margins are that close in many NFL games, the same can be said for the close games we won. My point is winning 12 games last year..or this is really not far fetched, but it's what you do play off time..and that's where a limited and easily read and covered O gets you into trouble. I am not trying to read the tea leaves, maybe MC has a brain fart release and all that stored up genius gets unleashed, or more likely we get the same old sh!t. At least it looks like the OL (which improved as the season went on) will be even better.

I actually think LG was their only consistent weak spot last year. C, RG and even RT was fine. Moore was pretty good the 2nd half of the season.

I’ve got to think that Herbig was signed with knowledge that he’d likely be the swing interior guy.

I grew up in Oil City - our hs hang-out spot was Kings on Rt 8. Or camping down by the river where we'd drink and someone would always sneak a can of baked beans into the fire pointed towards the water. Good times.

My wife always says the same thing. Come to think of it, she's always staring at my crotch and shakes her head when she says it.

Yeah you OC boys had the high times, in TVille we had Perkins and and a can of weenie beenies toward the creek. To think I was once jealous of the Oil City life, that alone shows you how deprived I am mentally lmao

IDK if they go T, possible, but I think the team still likes Moore. Not saying his play does not need to improve, but the same can be said for who he was teamed with on that side of the line. You put a proven guy like Seumalo next to him and some of those left side issues disappear.

I haven't been back to OC in about 10 years now. Last time I was it was really depressing to see how many buildings have been torn down.

The whole area, I have a son in Seneca and its very sad. He told me the Mall has no big stores and just a couple of units occupied. Guess it is happening all over, but it hits harder when you have fond memories of better times.

I was reading a book about the conspiracy to kill Lincoln and was surprised to see that John Wilkes Booth lived in Cherry Tree township near Titusville. That was where the conspirators first gathered to make their plans to assassinate Lincoln.

Never heard that, Petroleum Center (near Cherry Tree), now just a Ghost area was pretty wild in its day. A bar owner named Coal Oil Johnny had his 'waitresses' run naked through the streets to get all the men to come to his place (a lot of folk lore). Later he got religious and came back in town wanting to shut the bars down, they ran him out on a rail lmao.

This fits with the way he avoided the question when he was asked if he would be a starter during his introductory press conference. I think they told him he would have the opportunity to compete, but nothing was guaranteed. They probably weren’t sure they could get another interior lineman they wanted.

Seems pretty obvious they aren’t happy with dotson’s inconstancy at lg.

It’s not like he was promised anything

They all know it’s a best man wins competition

If they draft a left tackle at 17 and I hope they do Moore will be the depth.

There was an area my grandfather had a summer cottage where I would stay as a kid

Lots of kids up and down the creek 4 of which are still my best friends

A flood took out 80% of the cottages and the rest have gone from summer cottages to low grade housing

None of us go back to even look it’s too sad better to have great memories

Moore would be an exceptional backup. I’m hoping for LT at 17 as well. If we can get our guy there, our offensive line will be set for the next half decade minimum!

OL improved as the year went on and improved in FA

RB improved as the year went on

QB improved as the year went on

Lots of reason to be enthused

Well not for the local trolls
