What do you think of Feiler returning to play LG next year?

I think Herbig is going to be like BJ Finney and be the backup Guard/Center position. With JC gone, I hope the Backup Center does not get turned over to Green. I remember Tomlin talking about why it is never a good idea to have your backup center be a starter on the O-Line.

Much was said about Minkah in his Rookie season as well. For that matter, Miamis Jevon Holland was much of the same in terms of concerns. However, both became top flight Defensive Backs for their teams. Brian Branch to me has thar level of potential.

I can say that if you don't want to spend that high a pick on someone like Branch, Jartavius Martin from the University of Illinois is a very similar player. Not the same level of instincts like Brian Branch but very much the same when it comes to ball skills and versatility.

Soo... that did not take long to escalate. In Williams defense though, signing Orlando Brown Jr told him what Cincy thought of him anyways.

IDK, there were 2 OL in the 80's. one out of Temple "Rhino" or some crap and another out of Pitt..both stunk of the joint. The DL who got winded on the 40 in training camp. That we traded up for Bush and he did not even get the 5th year option is glaring, but we have had some unlimed outhouse stink some years lol.

Cincy has given up the most QB sacks the last two years. Hard pass on this one.

We need the help, I actually would not mind Gentry coming back it it was league minimum or maybe a million. The RFA tender was over 3.3 million, thus no one got the tag. if no one signs them I would welcome Pierre and Gentry back NP, they know the system..worst case they get cut with no Cap hit.

Id have NP with this, certainly the depth in the middle would improve, Feiler went to my sons school and Church...really great guy.

John Reinstra was certainly disappointing for a guy taken ninth overall in 1986, but he was at least a starter when he could manage to be healthy, which gives him a leg up on Huey Richardson. Tom Ricketts, the Pitt guy, was worse, but it is tough to be as awful as Richardson.

I wouldn't mind seeing them get Feiler back, but are they going to spend on a fourth guard?

Its been so long, wasn't Rhino originally a T, had ulcers and anxiety issues. Moved to G and as you said at least was a starter. Huey, Jamain Stephanson (? sp), Tim Worley..every team has 1st round busts, but this lists gives me ulcers lmao

I thought he was always a guard, but I could be remembering that wrong.

I didn't post it as meaning I wanted the Steelers to trade for him, he gave up 12 sacks last season I would take Dan Moore over him, its news is why I posted it.

If Feiler returned he would most likely be a backup, Dotson and Herbig will battle for the LG position.

I would put my money on Feiler in that battle against Dotson and Herbig.

I still think Herbig is destined for the Backup Center/Guard role on this offense next year.

And if we draft a LT in the 1st round this year, I would expect them to kick Moore inside to join the LG Battle as well.

Yep, look at which team led in sacks the last 5 years, but can’t stop the Jets.

I enjoyed watching that entire Illionis Defensive Backfield actually. One of the best units overall of the 2022 NCAA FBS Season for sure. Very underrated and seriously are not being talked about. That all said, neither Tomlin nor Kahn attended the Illinois Pro Day on March 10th; a shame really.

Bob Sanders and the 10 Most Injury-Prone Players in NFL History

How can anyone have an NFL injury-prone list and not include Sanders?

When healthy, he's one of the best safeties in the game. He's a hard hitter who's comparable to Ronnie Lott and a big presence on the Colts' run D.

Unfortunately, including this season, he's played more than six games in a season only twice.

How did I ever miss this. There’s no way this guy interviewed well. Steelers definitely blew this evaluation top to bottom.
