Offseason Moves/Free agent signings

Surely You have heard it. You just didn't recognize it. It's been in commercials, movies, and many other things.

 

Not sure if this has been covered but they didn’t offer RFA tenders to any of Sims, Pierre or Hassenauer which is surprising. They are all hitting free agency.

I thought they’d keep Pierre at least, unless they’re hoping he comes back at a number lower than the tender amount, i.e. league minimum. Seems a bit lousy if that’s the case

 

I think Nate Herbig is a solid signing, gives Steelers more flexibility in drafting other positions.

It's odd to me but this seems like the most active FA activity that I have ever seen all across the league. Maybe I'm just paying more attention since the Steelers are actually participating more so than in the past. Almost like other years we just stood pat. Anyone agree or am I just imagining things.

There's a new GM in town. Perhaps that is he main reason.

Pretty good signing by the Browns. Him and Dalvin Tomlinson were good gets. Well.. good gets but I am unsure about their contract figures. Not a fan of Tomlinson's in particular; $14.25 Million over four years.

yea that kind of surprises me, Pierre is what he is, but the CB is already depleted. Herbig has some experience at C I understand JC not getting the offer.

I never stated this is going to make Cleveland a Dark Horse AFC Contender!!! All I said was that those moves were pretty good. All of this depends on Deshaun Watson and how well he performs heading into the 2023 Season with a full Off Season under his belt.

He's not great but he's not bad either. I like what they did here, they were for consistency and durability. With all of the FA signings they have really set themselves up to take the BPA any any position but QB, RB, K, P

While they still have needs all over the place, none of them are "we need to draft a starter day 1" at this point.
