I'd love to see them add Brown, but I just can't see them spending that type of money on an outside free agent. Not addressing inside linebacker, however, would be a huge mistake.

Tackle somewhere. They are at the Clemson pro day. ILB maybe? Corner? DL probably somewhere in the first 4. TE? With kazee back that helps the secondary.

I know nothing about him and I already know he is an upgrade over Dotson

    Greene is probably gone

If we draft a guard Dotson will be gone

Here is a good informative article about his pro history that explains his rock solid value and line flexibility of all three interior spots. Good comments below it too from other readers.

Per Alex Kazora on Twitter via PFF - snap count at each position.

    LG - 377
    C - 49
    RG - 1648

Some competition for Dotson at LG, looks like a solid signing and the contract isn’t crazy

Herbig has 28 career starts so he does have some experience and he's 6'4" and weighs 335 so he has size too.

The Herbig signing is surely the end of any notion of Kendrick Green figuring it out. What a disappointment he has been

Green may still be on the team

His cap hit vs Dotson is $1.6M less and that’s a lot to waste on a backup

its not a sexy signing, but a guy in the trenches..even if he does not start gives you valuable depth. Also a feel good story when a UDA works his way to a nice payday.

Dotson will make it, or better

He's a solid back up n fringe starter

    Green can't play

Kaleb McGary still available, something tells me nobody wants to pay his $18 million asking price.

I would still love to see the Steelers move Chuks to LT and bring McGary in at RT for around $12 million. FYI Chuks is on the books as a RT for $13 million, so maybe my price for McGary is too Low.

Green is terrible. Dotson is a below-average starter, but still a damn good run blocker. I'm assuming Herbig is coming to compete, not to be handed a starting job.

11.5 per year, Cheaper than Chuks, my $12 million wasn't a bad guess.
