Saw Muse live last night. Amazingly, they played Ennio Morricone's Man with a Harmonica from Once Upon a Time in the West as the opening to Knights of Cydonia. It took me by surprise and was completely amazing.

I didn't really get into this until later in life.
I played with a bass player that was really into it.

 

I liked his guitar work but, I listened to this album over and over for the percussion work!

I wore out two cassette tapes of the live album Tokyo Tapes from the Scorpions in my tractor one summer in Sulfur Bluff Texas when I was 16. LoL

Sometimes the company of the artist does it. Best thing to do is find the song being done on someone's else YouTube page....because they already got it passed being blocked.

 

So I tried on my phone, and the video shows, but when I press the arrow, it doesn’t do anything.

But I did get it to actually play on my phone by clicking the little square box in the upper right corner of the black video box that has the arrow pointing to the upper right. When I did that, it opened in a new webpage, and actually played OK there, just not here on the site.

Saw her several times back in the days usually along with Jackson Brown. Back when the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach was the center of the west coast music scene (outside of Hollyweird of course). This remarkable tune written by none other than Mike Nesmith of the Monkees who was not allowed to write any material for their own recordings due to the heavy thumb of their Manager/Producer/Master Don Kirschner.

 

LoL. I have also lived all over. I'm just one of the few people that don't like N.Young. I thought that line from Skynyrd of what they said about Him was appropriate. LoL.
