A couple ft of snow here at 5100 ft but 395 was closed for several days north and southbound from Bishop not to mention closures to all Lakes and Mammoth. Loving this La Nina year! LOL. What do they know.

I don't want to be that guy, but that's not Skynyrd. Don't be mad. I have this argument all the time.

A band that lived on its name.....really if You want to break it down....they were more the outlaws/Blackfoot/38 special... than they actually were Skynyrd after 77.

Well since some of the main guys died in 1977, or weren't the same after the plane crash....only the name remained the same.
I don't see how the founding member/lead singer could die, and it be the same band.
If James Hetfield, and Kirk H.....died in a plane crash would You really consider anything after that Metallica.....even if they still carried on????

    Oh.....well I agree with that

But I always thought this was a demo with the original dudes...

At least per the wiki, the demo is from 1970:

"Junkie" (Demo, Oct 1970) (Collins, Van Zant) – 3:48"

Thanks - not an issue up here but when the snow melts occur these next few months, the lakes and streams should be riding very high and expand the shorelines quite a bit. Fishing should be superb for you southerners. :thumbs up:

There was a singer Mark Almond around the time the Allman Bros hit the charts and I also thought they were all related. :lolol:

Maybe, but I don't think it was recorded till later with others. I could be wrong.

No worries. Even I'm wrong once every 10 years or so. ;)

Yea, that version i posted is from the green box set of demos from 70 to 77. Those are the ONLY years that matter. 100% in agreement there.

I think you got thrown off because the box wasnt released until 91. But those are all old songs, and that is DEFINITLEY Van Zant singing.

There might be a version recorded later post the crash, but I haven't heard it.
