I like the young guys we have here. Gilbert, Adams, DeCastro and Beachum all look like they can contribute on some level. With Pouncey still being very young, this line SHOULD get better as time goes along.

i agree freak. he has never been that good on the left. it's all mobility with our guards. foster is not mobile. neither is colon. foster however has a little pouncey in him straight away. he can block multiple defenders in the run game, just not laterally.

I'm hoping he starts, beginning a 160+ consecutive game streak with several pro bowls and Superbowls along the way.

I dont understand the excitement and fascination with DD. I think too many people are thinking hes going to come in and be the save the whole team player. Not saying I m not glad hes here, just too many are putting him on a pillar and he hasnt proved himself yet.

I like everything you said except for the part about Beachum outplaying Adams.. Beachum could be a great Guard, left or right doesn't matter but he hasn't played as well as Adams IMO..

there has been no pressure coming from the right. when adams was in there was pressure. adams may have a better seal on the edge in the run game but beachum can get upfield better. it's as good if not better. beachums arms are only 3/4" shorter then adams. he's always played tackle. he's got a big strong base on him. if he continues well there i have no problem with him staying. put adams on the left side and let's run the ball either way.
