    I fully agree.

Unfortunately, you sound like the opposite of where Tomlin has taken the Steelers.

Canada is still perfecting a quadruple reverse with all 4 WRs going in motion at different times. Once he perfects that he will make the Chiefs offense look like child’s play.

Refs have really shied away from calling holding in the super bowl. More points is more exciting.

You still need playmakers on defense who are capable of creating splash plays , or turnovers, you aren't going to totally stop the offenses of today but you need to get timely stops.

Because you're looking at stats. He completely controlled the game on a string pretty much. He was flawless and told everything they gave him. He ran when he needed to and threw when he needed to.

Their defense actually looked dead against dak. He put up 40 on them.

No ....I agree, but the year they spent the most on D....was the year they got the closest.
I was just showing that they actually did do something with their Defense..

We also will be losing how many off that Defense, and also a coach.....while We are losing nothing off our Offense that was the youngest in the league..

Defense is more of a priority.... ILB, SS and CB. Only offense position that should be taken early is OT, IMHO.

Until our ILBs and secondary improve, Steelers are gonna get torched by the better teams.... Bengals, Bills, Chiefs, Jaguars, Chargers and Eagles.

Combined, there were only TWO sacks in the Super Bowl. This from the league’s #1 and #2 teams in sacks.

Let’s not forget the effect that slippery field had on the game, especially in the trenches.

This is my hope. Not a sexy pick but was very envious of those lines that just played in the SB.

Our play calling in the red zone blew arse which along with the usual pass protection break downs resulted in terrible red zone production. We need dominant lines on both sides of the ball. We need to give Pickett time with studs on the line and the D line needs to put pressure on the opposing QB or you get picked apart in this league. Like the red herring that AR2 fell for with how we finished, no way we should feel that we don't need to upgrade our O-Line. Its nowhere near dominant and the tackles many many times were o-laying opposing defenders right into the backfield as if they were setting up screens which they were not!!

Spillane had a pretty damn fine season. Best I have ever seen him play. He can't cover and he is not the fastest but his motor and nose for the balls seems to pointing up. I have not looked at the stats but I would guess Spillane had a lot of tackles, stops and assists. Bush needs to go for sure. Myles Jack led the team in tackles.

Minkah led the league in interceptions with 6. It was a 4 way tie. He had one int returned for a TD as well. Our defence does not appear to be the problem presently. It factors in of course but our needs on offense are glaring.

Gentry. 3 linemen are only signed for this coming year. Cole, Daniels and dotson. Watt. Our 3rd QB. Our 3rd rb. Maybe our 2nd QB.

Defense , we lose alualu, bush, wormley?? Maybe. Spillane. Sutton, which should be re-signed. We have crowder, Egbule and Roche added at LB and robinson. Wren was added on the d-line.

So no starter on offense this year We lose, but potentially quite a few starters on defense We lose.

I think they have more free agents on defense than on offense, they will probably add 1-2 OL and another WR, they need help at DL, ILB, CB, OLB, SS.

Mason Cole and James Daniels are both signed through 2024, so 2 more seasons on each of their contracts.

Wormley played 40% of the defensive snaps. Alualu played 27% of the snaps. Ogunjobi played 63%. Bush played 62%. He is no big loss though. The end of the year he really wasn't starting. Spillane played 57%. Again not really a starter and we could have replacements here. So Edmonds. Sutton, who we most likely will sign. So who are all these starters on defense we will be losing? We have some replacements here already. Sure we will draft some but rookies most likely are not starting the full year anyway. Very few ever have.
You are correct. I was wrong about that.
