Anybody have any good Kevin Greene stories from when he was a Steeler?

He's one of my favorites all-time.

"I wasn't the biggest [and] I wasn't fastest,'' Greene once said. "But as long as you have a motor, you have heart ... that will overcome any physical limitations.''

Greene regularly used film study to search for an opponent's weakness.

"I figured out how to pass rush,'' Greene said. "I figured out how to put a guy, an offensive tackle three to four inches taller, 80 pounds heavier, put him in a position of failure, and I did that.''

Back in 1995 late in the season the old Butler Mall invited Kevin Greene to sign autographs there one Friday night. There were around 10,000 people showed up, parking was so bad that people were parking their cars over a mile away and walking to get Greene's autograph. His personality and style of play made him a Steeler favorite.

Yep, we were not just losing players but coaches too. It just seemed like, we were drafting and creating great players ... for other teams. Does anyone remember, when Carolina and Jacksonville, first came into the league? All of those high draft picks and each team had to give up like 4 players?

Took my son to training camp and he was getting some autographs from players walking by, John L Williams, Joel Steed then he went over to Kevin Greene, looked up at him and he said Can you please sign my hat Mr. Greene? He signed it and he said Thank you Mr. Greene! My son said He's a giant Dad! Still have the hat.

Here was a good one. One time a Kid fan at Saint Vincent's was being kind of a jerk and Kevin Greene took the kids football and punted it down the hill at Training Camp.

Ed Boucette did a story on it a few years back about the event.

Greene got a bunch of crap about it but I guess the kid was not being very nice or something of the sorts.

When I kid trying to get autographs. I always called every one by Mr. So and So...

Now days I could care less.

The only one I still have was my hat that Bill Cowher signed when I was 12 at training camp. Bill was a stand out guy. Still is.
