I would agree, the game itself is pretty vanilla, regular season game video can show more, but scouts seeing the guys up close, their particular strengths, intensity and ability to follow instruction etc. it all adds up.

 

Agreed, but I do like the whole Idea that they are playing a game with players most have never played with, and can't hide behind a great team , or specific scheme in these games.
Think about how hard it would be to be thrust on a totally different team, and be made to play. It's what will happen when they 1st come to the NFL. Therefore I find these games not only entertaining, but it exposes some players. IMO
Next game Saturday....the Senior bowl.

 

Agree. The former scout Williamson said that often the coaches leave the Senior bowl after the Thursday practices, as Friday is a walk through. And the coaches watch the All-22 after the game.
