Looking at the betting lines for both games. Generally I just do season bets on things like the over/under on Pirates, Steelers and Pens. I won Pirates and lost Steelers this past year. I have 185.00 left in my betting money and every single cent is going on Eagles. IMO that line is a joke.(-2.5) When I told friends that no rookie QB has ever made it to the SB they too placed big money on the Eagles. IMO people should bet the house on that game. No damn way a QB taken last in the draft is going to the SB. Again, IMO, this game will be a blow out in the second half.

Now the game I can't wait to watch. I would never bet this game. I'm hearing some guys taking the Bengals only because of Mahomes ankle. I guess if I had to bet the game I'd take KC. Can't see the Bengals beating them two years in a row at KC. Really believe this game going down to final minute for sure.

Either he doesn’t have a high ankle sprain or he isn’t human. Distinct possibility with some of the throws he makes.

We’ll know Sunday how much it’s bothering him when he’s doing more than a light jog.

I was really surprised to see the Eagles only a 2.5 point favorite. I thought for sure the Eagles would be at least a 6.5 point favorite.

Mahomes was out for a couple of drives, Lamar shut it down for the year.

I understand all of that and I'm not downplaying the importance of QB play by any stretch. The wild card games were, well wild. It happens. Great QB play can win you tons of regular season games and get you in the dance but how did that work out for Josh Allen at home, no less? I think maybe they wish they had more of their cap space used for defense. Burrow and Cincy's offense were very good in that game, but Cincy's defense dominated. Same for San Francisco. Purdy was decent but their defense won the game. The rankings are interesting, and I don't discount them out of hand. What is hard to quantify are injuries, line-up changes, etc. Which means defenses that might not have been playing well the first half of the year may have put it together in the second half and on into the playoffs. Playing good defense at the right time. Out of the four teams left, all have good to great defenses. Three of the four have young, dynamic QB's. Be that as it may, I wouldn't be surprised to see the 49'ers beat Philly with an unheralded rookie QB because their defense is capable of keeping the game a low scoring affair. So, to summarize, you are absolutely in prime shape if you have a stud QB. But you better be able to play some defense, or you aren't winning anything.

This is from a great crazy adult sitcom about a minor league hockey team in Canada. The show is Funnier than all get out.

A great little speech about how a leader takes all the blame and gives away all the credit.

Some people sure have a ton of disposable income. Went to the Hard Rock Casino to place my bet and the betting room was mobbed. I could hear people placing their bets for the games Sunday. When it was my turn I said to the girl that it seems all the money is on the Eagles. She told me since the line came out 90% of money is on Eagles. That 2.5 line is way off IMO. As for the AFC game she said they are about 50/50 but not nearly as much money as on the NFC game.

I was taken back that people were risking thousands of their dollars on a game. I knew it happened just never was up close and personal. TBH, if I'm a single man I'd have throw half my money on the game. IMO it's a sure winner.

I’ll put a lot of money down on a bet, more than I should but I will never bet it all. There are no sure things.

Yea I know. I went to my convenience store, coffee is a buck. I had 2 bucks in my wallet and bought a lottery ticket, half a billion bucks on the line. Now I'm crying because I will have no coffee for the rest of the work week. OK, I can use the debit card, but then I have to buy donuts because I refuse to debit for a dollar. So now I am crying because I am spending 3 bucks on coffee and donuts while still carrying a useless lottery ticket in my wallet.

Needless to say you and I are in the same boat. I actually bet on them only because I think it's one of the surest bets I ever saw. -2.5 is crazy. My Philly friends went up to AC and put big amounts of money on their birds. Once I told them no rookie QB has ever won a Championship game (damn you Ben;)) they bet big.

I'll be super pissed if they win by 2 points. I think we are going to be huge Bengal/Chief fans in two weeks. I think AFC beats them.

I don't want to see the eagles or San Fran winning the Super Bowl.

San Fran would have 6 Lombardi's. Bad enough the cheats have that.

The eagles have the most obnoxious cocky fans and I want to see them crying.

Don't want the bungles winning either. Another disappointment would bring a smile.

    Kansas City all the way.

Be thankful you did not go shopping today where I live. Fly Eagles Fly on repeat in the store and this poor old guy was taking so much **** for supporting his team (SF) with his jersey.

Steelers have to win #7 soon. Hate for NE to surpass us.

Do I want Eagles to lose, hell yeah, but I fear I'll get hunted down by all the guys I told it was the closest to a sure bet you'll ever see. 2.5 line = huge joke. Maybe Vegas knows something??? A rookie QB taken last in the draft will not win in Philly.
