Instead it is between Hurts, Jefferson, Allen, Burrow and Mahomes.

To me the MVP always comes down to the same question.
Which player had the most impact on their team?
Using that criteria it is a crime that TJ is not a finalist. I had people (non Steelers fans) telling me all season that TJ is a miracle worker for what he did this season with this roster. I agree.

    Benny

Based on this lack of logic if TJ had gotten hurt on the first play of the first game and we had been horrible he should be a MVP candidate

Of course he wasn't one of the finalists for MVP. Watt missed almost half of the season and was playing at half strength his first few games back. It would have been ludicrous for him to be on the list.

I was parodying this post by Joshi:

"To me the COY always comes down to the same question.
Which coach did the most with their roster?
Using that criteria it is a crime that MT is not a finalist. I had people (non Steelers fans) telling me all season that Tomlin is a miracle worker for what he did this season with this roster. I agree."

The logic then is Mitch should be Steelers MVP, because his lousy play forced them to start a rookie, and then they started winning.

TJ missed a half of season. He would've had to get 2 sacks per game to be considered ... mvp

He is the MVP for the Steelers. They had zero answers after he want down.

The time he missed would not even bring him into the fold even for defensive player of the year.

And look at ALL the MVP candidates. Seems to be offensive heavy...

Trolling a mod, bold strategy, let’s see how it works out.

Trolls are just looking for the shock value. It's best not to feed them.

Watt for MVP. :roflmao:The guy missed half the season and when he came back he was half the player.

I may have to drink a beer and eat popcorn with Heinz to ride this out

My wife calls Burrow Joe Cool

If you want to debate that point with her have at it

I’ve survived this long occasionally keeping my mouth shut

In actuality, Snoopy is Joe Cool. Since he's not real, we have to go with Montana!

Hold on Benny Lava, or whatever your name is.
The comment about COY does not apply to MVP when the person you are commenting on missed as many games as Watt did. And similarly, if a coach missed half the season for person matters the argument for the coach would have to change. Frankly, I think you tried to make a serious point, missed the mark, received criticism, and then tried to blame your miss on my logic which was in a completely different context.
    I’m not having it.

The logic still stands as to the COY debate.
The logic does not transfer to the MVP debate.
The transitive property does not apply.

A battle of wits? To the death?

I’m sure he has a dizzying intellect. I’ve been told you should never start a land war in Asia and only slightly less know is never go up against a Sicilian when death is on the line.
