I'd rather he replace Canada for my Steelers, but it sounds like we wanted to lock him up before more suitors came calling for his services...

Byron only has a history of being in a very heavy passing game. And a very bad history of bailing on the run.

Steelers have made their choice. I'm not sure where Leftwhich winds up but it won't be Pittsburgh.

I have no problem having Byron here for the passing part of the playbook. But you don't bail on the run.

I wouldn't say that. He can come here as an intern. But that's if no one takes him as a HC obviously.

I think he gets an OC job somewhere. I can't see him coming in here content to Canada's assistant.

So Greg Roman OC of the Ravens is fired also. I guess the Ravens Lamar experiment is at its end.

The Ravens are in a rough spot. The D is great, but their O is a disaster. It’s built for Lamar, by Roman. If Lamar is back, they can muddle along for another season or two.

If Lamar leaves, they need to get a new QB, better WRs and an OL that actually knows how to pass protect - all in one offseason. That’s not going to happen.

Surprisingly, Roman resigned with one year remaining on his contract. People don't usually leave money on the table.

The secret bubble screen is the trick play in hiding. Canada found it buried in the Old OC files. he said, "What is this new and amazing play? This and jet sweeps, SB baby!"

Wow really? I thought he was the mastermind behind embracing Jackson's skill set and using multiple TE's and a rb to give them lots of options on any given play.

Unfortunately for him there was no way to get around the fact that Lamar cannot throw outside the numbers.

Leftwich would be a great fit with Lamar.
