I didn't have the pleasure or lack thereof of seeing yesterday's dreadful performance as I had to work. When I got home I hardly ever watch a recorded game if we lost but I felt an urge to see how the Chargers could have beat us that bad. And they did too, usually we play the opponent and the refs but if the refs somehow were to have had severe head trauma and helped us it still would'nt have mattered! I think this team suffers too much from knowing they can beat teams like the Giants and Ravens on the road to thinking they can just show up against the bottom feeders and automatically get the win. You'd think by now they would have learned. The good news though is the remaining schedule should motivate this team highly and bring out some championship form in their play. The line will be the key to whether we get in or not. Ben looked pretty darn nimble on his feet yesterday so if the line protects him next week we will run the Cowboys out of their stadium. The Bengals will give us a fight but I don't see this team dropping another home game. If we are able to get our foot in the door and make the playoffs I still think we can make a run and go deep. The main thing is it's time to hold yourselves accountable Steelers and man up down the stretch. I'll always believe we can do it and by the way I'd never walk out of a stadium like some of the fans did yesterday, just can't give the opponent that satisfaction. We can still do this Steeler Nation, believe in the the Stairway to 7!

    drink up folks ....

I will say this as long as they come out flat and look uninterested they will suck vs below average to average competition , it is becoming a culture look back over the past few years and look at some of the losses and or near losses to far lessor opponents this is not an anomaly it is almost standard operating procedure .....

the look like they are on auto pilot and expecting to win because they are the Steelers .... it just does not work like that in the NFL you have to show up and play to win and we are not ... that is on the Coaching staff for allowing it ...

we have far to many players who I call chest thumpers ...look at me kind of guys ... well I say this to them .. I am looking right at you !!! and if I am honest I do not like what I see

MAN UP not just sometimes ALL THE TIME

I to always believe the Steelers can do it, and nevr have counted them out in the past. But it's time i start to be honest with myself. And bye that i mean this team's window/door of opurtunity? is closeing, and with the injuries and constant bad play on the field. ... If we dont get there this year, i think it's time to blow it all up and start over. :herewego!:

Right, and no team is that good. As does every team, the Steelers need to realize it takes more than just walking on the field to win a football game. I would have thought they had that all figured out after Oakland, and Tennessee, and Cleveland, but apparently they have not. Do they now understand?? Next week will tell.

I don't think I can share your optimism.

    But I'll cheer anyway :)

I fine this team needs a reason to get fired up for a game, so I see them killing Dallas, they need to beat cinci and they want their revenge on the browns.

See ya in the playoffs :herewego!:

2 steeler losses combined with 2 wins by the Browns places us at the very bottom of the division for the entire off season ....... we all joke about the browns and how bad they are the truth is we are not much ( if any ) better than they are right now .... they just destroyed a team we where barely able to beat at home ( Chiefs ) and the Browns just beat us a few weeks ago ... its look in the mirror time

I see them beating Dallas, this is the week we get things rolling, I absolutely refuse to believe we come out flat again. Steelers 27 Dallas 17 :herewego:
