Are we waiting on Leftwich before we fire Canada?

If only choices are Leftwich or Canada, then Canada for continuity’s sake. I really can’t argue that Canada’s offense is more imaginative. Perhaps at Pitt, he might have been. I want Canada gone, but not if replacement is Leftwhich.

Yep, don't see what Leftwhich brings to the table. Also want Canada gone, but not replaced with Leftwhich. We can do so much better.

this is called Piss Poor Ownership.

they have NO CLUE what they want to do, where they want to go, and how to get there. See several years of Fichtner and Canada to make my point. GO GET SOME TALENT. Open up the RUSTY WALLET

I think you're on to something in saying they won't fire him unless they have a candidate(s) that they are sure about.
Leftwich's offense hasn't been so good this year but they weren't good at getting some players to man it.

A report I read named Canada as one of the top ten highest paid assistant coaches in the league. At 700,000/yr., he's paid above average for someone with his level of experience. How does that equate to the Rooneys having a "rusty wallet?" Love people who think they know how others should spend their money!

So top 5 since he's been an OC in ppg as well in passing, you don't want? That was with winston and Brady.

    Vs Canada who is 25+?

Again you simply just looked at the score last night.

Top 5 in ppg and passing yards. Dude was the exact same he was since 2019.

OC, albeit interim OC, but he had two months as a playcaller to prove himself... He was fired in 2018

There are better candidates than Canada or Leftwhich. Stop bringing in guys that have been around the organization before and just hire somebody good.

Intern oc is very much different than OC.

I do like other candidates. But leftwhich it's not bad. I don't care for abandoning the run game. But he's top 5 in ppg and passing yards since he's become an OC. And that includes winston as well.

How much of Leftwhich's success was him, and how much of it was Arians?

. So with and without Arians the offense stayed the same. Even with a declining Tom beady this year.

Stop just making up things on your head.

Ummmm well arians wasnt there this year. And Tampa offense is still the same. Only difference is Brady has greatly declined. However ppg and yards was still top 5.

This is funny to me on the comments.

Y'all: "he couldn't do it without brady".....He literally did it with Winston.

Y'all: "he couldn't do it without arians".... he literally just did it this year, and that's with a declining Brady.

Y'all: "he sucked in Arizona and was fired.". 1. A lot of coaches are fired. There's literally a thread comparing mccarthy to Tomlin right now. And packers cut him before the season ended. 2. Byron wasn't the OC, he was an intern. So when the new HC took over, he cleaned the board. Which is very typical to do.

Y'all: "well players don't get open".... brady is so off, it's pathetic. He's throwing to areas where a player is not in that area.

Why did Brady collapse is the question

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/tam/index.htm

    Bruce Arians
    2020 Offense rank points 3
    2021 Offense rank points 2

    Without Arians
    2022 Offense rank points 25

I've watched quite a few Bucs games this year. Tampa's offense was awful. I'm sure poor offensive line play and lack of playmakers have more to do with that than Brady declining IMO. There is no doubt the offense was better when BA was there.

You keep saying he did it this year without BA. What exactly did he do? Their offense was horrendous.

Tampa Bay ranked around 24 in points per game. While that's better than Pitt I'm not sure he's the guy you want
