Right, and my whole argument was that missing more time is much more likely as he ages. Of course, it would help if they improved their front 7 and he didn't have to do as much.

I guess it goes along with the history of breaking banks with players...they rarely seem to play out to the cost of it. I can probably name a handful of players where it was worth it.

Let’s try this again. You are saying that running QBs are more prone to getting hurt. Well Tua, a non running QB didn’t play in a playoff game and Allen, the running QB did. You’re over staying the injury risk to running QB’s.

Thats your opinion that Allens shoulder is hurting him and affecting his game. Didn’t look too hurt to me out there.

90% of Qbs that make it to the NFL are talented enough. It's not about talent, or intelligence. It's about processing speed. It's the one thing all the greats have....not speed , arm strength, height, or intelligence....., and IMO you can only learn it to a point. You either already have it most of it , or You don’t. Same exactly with fighters. You can tap the potential, but You can't manufacture it.

Looking at Burrow, as good as he is, I don't think he'll have a particularly long career. He's sort of frail. I don't see him surviving even half the time that Ben did with some of the shots he took, nor will he be able to shake off some of the LB'ers and DB's, either.

Let's try again. Go look at the QUOTE You commented on. You may have wanted another, but the one You picked.....I was talking about J. Allen. 5ints 6 fumbles since He got hurt. Yeah not bothering Him. Hell He had 2 ints , and 4 fumbles today. Didn't You watch??

Just like that, no way Roethlisberger goes down there.

Edit, as I typed that, I realize the same may be true of Pickett.

Burrow is not a small guy. I don't see how you can say he is frail

If everyone who isn't like Ben is frail then basically every QB is frail. Ben was a tank. Most QB's aren't.
That doesn't mean their careers will be shorter. If anything, the fact they go down easier means they aren't going to take the abuse Ben did

Of ffs dude I know what I commented on. You lobbed a salvo saying let’s run plays that allows our highest paid player to get hit even more.

I pointed out that Tua isn’t even playing and he doesn’t run. How are you not understanding this. It’s football, players get hurt and it’s not just running QBs that do and I’ve seen nothing to suggest they get hurt at a higher rate.

Problem is it can't be away that affects the throwing motion. If Pickett is like Ben ....He will put on weight. LoL.
I think people forget how skinny Ben was as a rookie. Well compared to what He ended up. LoL.
What's funny is people said it He took better care of His self like Brees, Rodgers, and Wilson. Hahaha.

Agree on both Burrows and Pickett. Ben and Allen are solid built

    Ben 6-5 240
    Josh Allen 6-5 237

He just isn't a physical specimen. He has all the tools, I get that. Montana wasn't a specimen either. Nut, he's already taken quite a beating in his short career and has one ACL tear, unfortunately.
