You may want to reconsider that math.

After watching the NFL games on wild card weekend and some wild offenses SF over Seahawks 41 to 23, Jaguars over the Chargers 31 to 30, I just don't see us getting at those numbers with Canada, heck the Jaquars scored 24 points in a half, SF scored 25 points in a half.

At this point I absolutely think they're keeping him. I'm not a Tomlin basher, but he is seriously lacking in this aspect of being a boss.. If someone is underproforming ,changes should be made..You screw up the fries one to many times, McDonald's is gonna replace you with someone better

If the boss doesn't see the weakness and embraces it maybe the boss needs to go...

The Rooney's don't like to pay coaches to sit on the couch.

For the better part of the last two decades, the Patriots have been a perennial thorn in the side of the Steelers organization. Now we’ve got two organizations with young quarterbacks who need strong offensive coaching to take them to the next level. The Pats are actively searching for their next offensive play caller while the Steelers are hesitating and seem likely to keep the JUCO OC, at least through next season, which could seriously stunt the growth of a promising young quarterback.

I can’t remember a more important off-season move than the one the Steelers currently have before them, at least not from a coaching perspective. The Steelers offense was abysmal and any success Pickett had was in spite of Canada and not because of him. There was no rhyme nor reason to the offensive gameplan for three and a half quarters most games this season and had it not been for Pickett channeling the comeback spirit of Big Ben, Tomlin’s non-losing streak would have been over.

It’s time for a change at the OC position and while there are some good offensive minds still out there, the Steelers need to act. Otherwise, they’ll hesitate and find themselves in the midst of another lost season with Oh Canada at the helm.

    Simple answer. Probably not.
    ***Edit***
I guess I didn’t read far enough. I thought this was a thread comparing us to the Patriots. Didn’t realize I was getting sucked into another fire Canada thread.

If you don’t get enough attention in the other threads you started on the subject then start as many as it takes till you get your fix.

We need a section just for firing coaches. Or a limit on the number of threads a poster can create on the same topic.

Where did I start another thread about Canada? Sorry, I guess I should start checking with you and strummer prior to posting anything on this board to make sure it’s approved by the two of you since it’s obvious that you two, as much as anybody on here, think you run the board. I’ll try to do better, really I will.

The self-proclaimed mods, who aren't mods, add more useless traffic about what others post than actually talking about the Steelers.

But somehow they seem ok to bash other posters over and over and over and over again, yet they want debates about Steelers stopped.

They remind me of middle school mean girls who love to get on social media and bully the less popular girls in class.

Maybe you didn’t, but there’s already several fire Canada threads. Couldn’t have posted in one of those?

No, I couldn’t have. If the (real) mods want to delete my post then they can have at it. I thought my post was a little more nuanced than some of the others since I pointed out that the Pats are looking for an OC and they have a similar quarterback situation. Sorry you didn’t approve (but couldn’t care less).

I don’t think Pats will affect us. They will probably make a move for someone like Kingsbury and that’s not how the Steelers roll. Although they did bring in Flores last season so who knows.

I still think they are going to keep Canada and get him some help and that person will take over OC in 2024. Just like they did for Butler with Austin.

On a side note, people can stop complaining about similar threads being made, us mods will handle it. All you are doing is starting fights.
