I do feel bad for hardcore Buc fans. They have the economics of baseball working against them plus an owner that is only concerned with making money. Bob Nutting may well be the worst owner in all of professional sports.

I gave up on them, but I gave up most baseball about 20 years ago.

 

Theyve played about 3 series of meaningful games since 1992. I did shed a tear watching the wildcard game though

Hurricanes goalie Freddy Anderson just gloved a puck, tossed it up in the air then batted it off of Rikard Rakell and right into his own net. Never seen that done before. No wonder Toronto let him go.

Me too, pretty much. I enjoyed watching and listening to Buc games with my dad. He passed in 1993 and as I've said elsewhere on this board, I'm glad he didn't live to see this. It would broke his heart for sure.

Me too. When I was a kid, I loved Bob Prince. We had some wonderful announcers over the years. Jack Fleming, and the great Mike Lange.
