Anyone for Bengals/Bills???

I know more about this than I should. CPR and a defibrillator saved my life. I'm not preachy by any stretch, live and let live. I can tell you that if you're having chest pains or any other symptoms, shortness of breath, pain in left arm, call an ambulance or get your ass to the nearest ER. My cardiologist told me if I had had my heart attack in the field, I would have died. You will know if something is wrong. I had anxiety starting about an hour before like I've never had before or since. Don't be a tough guy, please.

 

Could be an undiagnosed, preexisting condition, like Peverly.

 

It's a step in the right direction.
At least they got the electrical part of the heart working, assuming what you read is even correct.

The other possibility is some type of spinal cord damage that controls his autonomic nervous system.

 

His family was in the stands and went along in the ambulance. Pray for them too.

 

I guess that could be considered a good thing they were able to wait for his mother?

I was 46, this young man is only 24 and likely in the best shape of his life. You just never know.

The look on the Bills players faces was shock and horror. There is no way they can go back out on the field tonight.

 

Brings back terrible memories of when Shazier was paralyzed. And this is potentially much worse.

Booger is real, the other two maybe not say so much. But then again, they are in a situation that can leave you speechless. I'm still tuned in to hopefully hear he is alright.

I was thinking the same thing. Either he's stable enough they can wait, in which case why haven't they stated that publicly, or things are such that waiting doesn't matter.

 

Amazed they never thought of stopping that game. Not sure they knew the severity of that at the time. I get this is worse, but does anyone on the Bills ever get this out of their mind regardless of how long they wait.

Not saying they should play, but this is PTSD for guys forever I'd think.

 

I hear you. One report says they were giving him oxygen when he was out into the ambulance.
