Official game day thread - Steelers vs Chargers

To hell with it. For the first time in my life I'm turning off a Steelers game, or at the very least switching between it and other more interesting games

 

Pretty sure that Tomlin is not calling "throw a pass backwards into the endzone"

 

Mike Tomlin is about to do something Noll and Cowher never did: lose a regular season game at home to San Diego.

 

if only there was a way to make that happen.

 

Understand the sentiment. Can't do it myself. Whatever tiny bit of faith I can hang on to, I will.

 

so have the players. all the effort, guts and heart spent against the rats apparently

can't explain the lackluster game any other way

 

I wouldn't read too much into the word choice. It's either overturned of confirmed, that's always the way it is. Not enough evidence to overturn = confirmed.

 

I think this just might have ended our season.

 

one good thing is were gonna run the hurry up for 20 + minutes of this game

 

At least Dwyer is playing with heart.

 

Do the Steelers have more weird plays like that than most folks? Fumbles that look like forward passes returned for TDs? Plays not being blown dead and and continuing for weird TDs? It just seems weird, but I don't watch a lot of other teams.

I talk a big game, yet my TV is still on the Steelers game. I have full intentions of turning off this game...but my fingers just won't cooperate yet. lol Not easy to give up on your team, even if the loss is all but guaranteed

 

They even have a kicker that puts it in the stands. Wow that's a idea.

 

it's kind of hard to get excited about that big run.

 

Oh the old " he is rusty" excuse, I forgot about that. He hasn't played football in what, two years? Maybe he should of drank a gallon of WD-40 before the game.

 

Well Im not leaving the game. Im gonna sit and let it sink in. Time to not be a fair weather fan! My thoughts so far, Wallace I hate him. He can't catch he causes penalties and he's an idiot. #31 Brown isnt a starting CB. AB isnt having a good game but I still ahve faith in him. The OL well I give up, I hate them. They can't run block or pass block. It's nice to see Ben back and playing. I have been happy with the rest of the pass defense minus #31. Troy is getting the rust off but I'd save him for next year. Heath is Heath what else can I say. Tomlin well I'm sick of his stupid decisions. i'd fine him if I were the Rooney's for going for it on 4th and one (I know this can't and wont happen). Plax and Sanders seem to be playing hard. I'd start them over AB and Wallace right now.
