Don’t care about the haters, doubters, or draft pick seekers right now! I want tonight to matter! Let’s go Steelers! Phins and Jets need to go down!

 

I won't apologize for feeling the same way. Making the playoffs still counts for something even if they end up being a punching bag in the first round. The current Steelers need a reason to buy in, something to believe in. Mailing it in for any reason sucks. I want to root for an organization that fights to the final whistle.

I agree. But technically, the jets dont have to lose today to keep hopes alive for week 18. If the jets win today, the steelers would need a jets/dolphins tie in week 18. A jets loss today would make things easier though.

 

I feel the same way. We should see Phins and Jets loose today and then it is on us. Even if all happens, I’m concerned next week with Jets beating Phins.

You know, with as much help as the Steelers need, the help isn't unrealistic.

The Seahawks beating the Jets is more than realistic, same with the Pats beating the Phins.

Then, in week 18, the Jets beating the Phins and the Bills beating the Pats is also very probable.

This of course assumes the Steelers take care of their own business, but with Jackson out it's very doable. If Pickett doesn't get hurt in round 1 I feel they beat the Ravens the first time.
