How do you get a chance to produce when not thrown to or targeted, this ALL goes back to canadas very vanilla offense, DT gets 20 targets, muth gets 10, pickens gets 4, harris/warren get 5, the hol season bin like this

This might be the game we look back on and say this was the moment KP became a Steeler field General. Time will tell.

After the game I was watching the Christmas tree just thinking…this was a Ben like performance. Not comparing him…but, numbers not huge, didn’t play a perfectly clean game, gutsy, and dude had it when the team needed it.

Maybe winning it for Franco is clouding my judgement. But I feel like this will be a water shed moment for KP. After that win, winning it for a legend…it’s his team, unquestioned. Some of the post game you could hear the way his teammates spoke about him. They think he’s “that guy.” If they believe that, doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Belief is a powerful thing and I think we’re starting to see glimpses of that.

That said, belief still ain’t helping Canada!

Hey, 26 for 39, 244 yards and a touchdown in those conditions isn’t terrible. The last drive was clutch. With a legitimate OC next season and some added beef on the OL, I believe Kenny’s going places and taking the team with him.

Heyward won't supplant Gentry next year, Gentry plays because of his blocking ability, Heyward doesn't have the size to be an inline TE.

This is true but they also need a much better OC big time since even if they are better since the bye, they still need to be much better.Too few big play and too often on 3rd down,so no margin from error

It's time to move on from Marcus Allen. I didn't think Heyward would even make the roster. He's played really well for a rookie!

A major step in his development for certain. Tomlin said it himself after the game in calling the game a "Grow Up" one for the Offense. Doubly so in Pickett's case. He clearly has had his ups and downs in his Rookie Season.

However, that final drive last night answered quite a bit of questions many had for him. He definitley has the staying power to be a starting caliber QB in the NFL. Hell, he even showed some Franchise QB traits during that final drive as well.

Arrow is definitely pointing up for him. Acquiring more talent around him is one aspect. Giving Canada the boot however will yield massive dividends.

He outplayed Carr, which is a positive step.

I guess that's a conundrum then. They need a guy who can block and catch to be TE2

Both built on one another. Pickens put us ahead and Sutton sealed the deal.

Beautiful throw to Pickens in the EZ. Glad to see improvements. I still have a lot of concerns about Pickett. Particularly his durability. After the last sneak, he came up hobbling. Just don't know if Pickett will be able to handle the physical toll.

He's just learning from Roethlisberger's example of acting as if he is in agony at least once every game. :)
