Who else is watching? It's great seeing all the old footage. Franco was the best. All these years later, you tend to forget just how good he was! Especially for those of us who don't live in the Pittsburgh area.

I was going to watch it and didn't. Not in the mood to be sad or emotional. I will watch it after the New Year.

That's funny, I had same situation and had to record it. Can't deny the kiddies those annoying Christmas shows.

Luckily, had control of mine and watched it. But…kids and grandkids coming in for Christmas and staying a few days so I will be ceding control (involuntarily) for the next week!

I'm envious of those of you who have 7 year olds in your house who are not addicted to their ipad!

Agreed, also decided to wait. Although last night's win has me in good spirits. For those who did see it, how was it?

Highly recommend watching Franco's Football Life. It was just great and saw things that I didn't know though I was around then. Forget how good he was and his speed and vision. I do remember when he got pissed at Hollywood Henderson during the super bowl and he told Bradshaw to give him the ball and he ran possessed, right thru the defense for a touchdown.

That is cool he was renovating that club. Not sure how old the footage was, but hopefully it still reopens.

With a little help from the ref, lol. Not taking anything away from Franco’s run because I believe he would have scored anyway. Nobody was stopping Franco on that play. I remember watching it live and for Harris to get that fired up was very unusual. Henderson was a bully and a jerk and Harris punched him in the mouth, figuratively speaking. And then in true Harris fashion, went up to him after the game and consoled him over the loss.

I am old enough to remember those glory days, but since Franco's passing I have watched a lot of vintage stuff from the glory days.

The first thing you notice especially for the younger fans wow it was a dangerous game back then. WR getting lit up with bone crushing hits, QB's getting body slammed or pile drived.

The other thing was the starting 11 on defense played every play, you rarely saw substitutions.

With todays rules half the defense would get kicked out of the game if they played like that.
