and it will be a another season without a losing season for coach Tomlin....16 non losing season in 16 seasons...2 games left...at Baltimore(the steelers are 4-1 in Baltimore since 2017) and the Browns at home(18-0 at home vs browns in the regular season since 2004)

 

It goes beyond Tomlin. Steelers haven’t had a losing season since 2003.

 

There were a bunch of people who didn’t have a loosing season

But we looked

 

A better streak- Pittsburgh hasn't finished last in their division since 1988. That's 12 years longer than the next closest team (New England) and 17 longer than the third (Green Bay). With Cleveland's loss today, we're no longer in the cellar in the division.

 

That's a fun stat.

There have been so many times I've seen teams starting over with a brand new QB. A lot of the time they really suck for the first few years. I'm not looking it up but how many teams have a rookie starting??? Do they have 7 wins??

 

As much as I would like to see Tomlin pull it out for his personal record, it's not about Tomlin's stats; though I believe that is important to the players (just not when they are committing stupid personal foul penalties). For me personally, I just prefer the team continue its winning ways. Keep putting up dubs. And here are the choices:

Beat Baltimore or improve draft position? I take beating Baltimore every time.

Beat Cleveland, keep them in the cellar or improve draft position? You take the win every time.

So, really, there is not option here. And for Kenny, beating these divisional opponents is critical to his career.

Go back a few years, the Bungles with Taylor as their coach were starting to believe in themselves, then Burrow was hurt. I find it hard to believe that beating the once 11-0 Steelers without Burrow, didn't give them confidence that they carried into last year. Winning is contagious.

The most important change the steelers need to make in the offseason and this is a easy one is to fire Canada!...If they don't do this it will not matter!

 

I absolutely agree, but wonder if all this winning will keep that from happening. And so, next year, we bring a div 3 college scheme to the field again.

 

I hope not.Even if they have been better since the bye, it's still not enough and they need a lot more big play....the o-line needs to be better but the OC position is going to be crucial, since no way they can compete with the Bengals offense in their good day if Canada is back no matter what.

Pickens doesn't even have 5 targets per game this year (even if he has 9.4 yards per target) it's a sign of a bad OC not involving your best players in a game and the pace of our offense is way too slow.. ..I hope Tomlin agrees with me!

Happy to see that the QB with the insane guaranteed contract had such a stellar game completing less than 50% of his passes and throwing a pick in a losing effort. Maybe a massage will make him feel better?

Many heads will explode if the steelers avoid another losing season this year...Many are tired of hearing about it and believing that it is now the standard of the steelers!
