Wow! That really was redemption for the Miami game. In that game, the defense dropped three easy picks and Kenny blew two chances to win the game late. In THIS game the defense made three tough interceptions and our rookie connection of Pickett to Pickens was clutch.

Great win!!!!........But I'm gonna keep saying Canada's gonna hold this offense back...We actually got some talent, but so does every defense you're gonna play. You have to be smart enough to out scheme people, and put your guys in the best position to make plays... Canada does a poor job of that..In order to continue to make strides he needs to be replaced off season..jmo

 

My guess is that he will be replaced.

 

That, and I had the under. Matt Canada plus cold air from Canada made it a no-brainer.

The pre-snap motion in his offense just isn’t fooling anyone consistently! Too often it just brings more defenders right into the gaps!


It worked on that last play, but if you’re not destroying people regularly, they’re not going to be able to establish anything past 1 or 2 plays where it counts!

same goes for “his”mesh concepts. They work in college more than not because you can have that much better athletes than the other team.

to be fair, being that based in college, probably helps Pickett and Pickens!

He was trying it throughout the game, just had a few batted because of hands in throwing lanes. I think that was a point of emphasis.

 

This is one of the most satisfying wins in a long time. To lose on the night Franco was honored was unthinkable. Kudos to the whole team for not folding and especially Kenny who led the long drive to win it. After starting 2-6 the Steelers have now won 5 out of their last 7 games.

 

It might be the squid ink talking, but this is one of the more enjoyable Steelers game/win I can remember in awhile.

 

Hopefully Canada is jettisoned next season.

Here is an interesting little nugget that I am sure many will agree with..




Having a good OC can do wonders. Pieces are apart of the equation too but someone who can call plays both efficiently and proficiently is critical. Imagine if Pickett gets even half of this.
