It was two times in a very short period of time

Small sample size but still very concerning

I'm always concerned about concussions, but I think the timing part is being overblown a little.

The offense is improving, but I still don't think they do enough schematically to get receivers open. I don't think Canada's offense does enough of that in general. It is glaring, especially for a franchise that has had offensive coordinators like Arians and Haley, who did that very well.

Concerning yes. Unheard of no. If we go back and apply the same oversight to guys like Aikman, Young, Ben… we’d be shock with how many concussions those guys had

I am pretty much in agreement.
I am still skeptical on Canada.
When I see multi-Receivers in the same zone by design, that's an issue.
When I see a defense, such as the Ravens whose secondary is garbage, that's where the attack should be. (Granted, Trubisly doesn't fill me with any confidence for that)
Right now, I see some improvement, but I 'think' Kenny has something to do with that. He's seeing things much better.

I’m sure someone of your football acumen knows this, but motorcycles have kickstarts. Offensive tackles have kick slides or kick steps.

Steelers should keep Trubisky long term. He is our next Batch. I've seen enough positives to keep him. If he likes it in Pittsburgh, then Khan should make it so.

    I'm a hater. Sorry
Although....I honestly have never rooted against Him when He has played Here.
    That's the truth.

Rudolph is probably gone. Trubisky might stay. Do the Steelers want to pay Trubisky 8 mill to ride the bench? I don't think so. Will MT take less? Possibly.

The Steelers might be in the market for a back up and third string QB in the offseason.

I could see some of us thinking that way but not the Steelers head honchos. I think they are committed to Kenny in 2023. Now should he really get his bell rung these next two games it may enter into the equation.

I do miss Johnny Carson. I watched him every night for two years in Hawaii. Easy to do since it came on earlier.

I don't think he is ready to accept being only a backup. If he is, I wouldn't mind keeping him the way they did with Batch.

I'm sure we all know the trouble our boys have had over the years against mediocre QB's that seem to have a great games against us. I always fear that Mason will get picked up by another AFC team and have his best NFL game against us. In the Playoffs, of course;)

I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers picked up a Dalton or Geno Smith to back up Pickett and drafted someone like Cam Ward in the 4th or 5th to be 3rd string and eventual backup.i do wish Mason and Mitch well in their future endeavors.

Maybe, but would Mitch pull a Carr? My gut tells me he may be ok with his situation and realizes going to a 4th team won't make a difference. JMO>

I don't think Smith is going anywhere that he doesn't have a chance to start, but I'd be good with Dalton as the backup as long as he was cheaper than Trubisky.

I really wasn't thinking either of them specifically, but a vet along their lines of experience and such that are willing to be a backup. I don't know what market Mitch could command in the Spring, but I really wouldn't mind getting a pick for him, even if it's a 4th or 5th. Since the Steelers would be as likely to cut him anyways, I can't expect the trade market to be kind to us.
