You absolutely can sit him for more than 1-2 plays. It's not like a win or loss to Carolina is going to make or break our playoff hopes. We're not getting in either way. Besides, it's about sending a message now so he won't hurt us in the future when the game truly matters.

I'm not saying to cut the guy, but I would have sit his ass for an entire quarter at least. But Tomlin is way too buddy buddy with these guys.

It's why I said most ....not all. He also fumbled running one that very well cost them the game yesterday.
You argue for argument sake. LoL

I argue when I'm right, which I am in this case. Most is, at best, a dubious claim.

Currenrly speaking, I currently am close to wrapping up my draft prospects for 2023. Overall for Franchise Caliber LTs?! Only Peter Skoronski makes the cut. To hell with length; dude is legit. Paris Johnson Jr though would be a rock solid starter overall. Broderick Jones Jr is my favorite and possesses the best potential out of the three with talent rivaling Johnson Jr's. Just a bit inconsistent when it comes to hand placement.

    Me personally?!

Give me O'Cyrus Torrence from the University of Florida. I know many want a Left Tackle but unfortunately, I seriously doubt the Steelers are going to give up on Dan Moore Jr for another season. Now, Kevin Dotson?!... he is likely gone for he has regressed thr past two seasons. Mason Cole and James Daniels have looked much better after their porous September to Mid October showcasing; both keepers to me though Cole could be temporary.

Biggest reason why I think O'Cyrus is likely in play is due to Pittsburghs historical drafting tendencies; prioritizing the IOL before the bookends. Now, with the amount of visits Steelers Scouts have made to Ohio State games, I have not ruled out Paris Johnson Jr just yet. That said, I can also see Johnson Jr not making it that far unless the Steelers lose out.

Moore would be better at LG, IMO. Draft OT in the first.... and move Moore inside.

I get that logic, but what if Torrence is the better player? As AQL pointed out, they have had great success building around first-round offensive guards, specifically Fanceca and DeCastro.

I've been happy with Cole... but we could also add a C and move Cole to G. I'm also curious about Moore at LG. Seems like he'd do well there but I don't know. Moore still scares me at LT in pass pro though a better LG would help that somewhat.
