I can’t believe my church scheduled mass over top of the Steeler game. WTH, man?

I can't complain. My wife is not a sports fan, and she gives me a lot of flak for my love of football, hockey and racing, but she's actually been very accommodating over the years. I think that's why she insists on talking about the royal family to me even though she knows I could care less about them.

Is midnight mass an option? The wife and I used to take my paternal grandmother to that one. I'm not exactly sure why, but I really enjoyed it.

Something about a night mass, and usually no crying babies...I shouldn't have gone there

Such a festive mass. I like Easter Vigil too even though it's close to two hours long.

Yeah, mine too. And even asked me to play guitar during the service. It's going to take even longer to get home since I'll have pack up my stuff after the service is over. :guitarplayer::whistley:

Here's how to save your marriage. Get really, really drunk during the game. Then after the Steelers win, ask for oral sex.

Our Candlelight service is at 8. So, I’ll be starting the game once I get home. Skip half time and commercials and I’ll be on the game day thread just in time for the heart attack

My daughter and I considered going to this game. Tickets are pretty cheap. But a two hour drive home after making it out of the parking garage just doesn't seem like a good idea considering I have a house full of people coming the next day.

And this is why it's important for Tomlin to never have a losing season... We all come out ahead.

My mother in law(widowed) comes over every Christmas Eve for some wine and a movie. I make it a point to not watch Steeler football around extended family for obvious reasons. Thankfully, they're not in the middle of a playoff race.

I’m okay with the Christmas Eve game. My wife is really good about all the sports I watch, so no worries there. I think her mom might be staying over, but she won’t get in the way. My brother is also a fan, so he’ll likely come over and we’ll tip a few beers beers while watching.

If any of you are looking for any last minute gift ideas for me...

I want the Steelers Owner Art. Rooney Jr. and...

I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Mt. Lebanon with all the other rich people, and I want him brought right here! With a big ribbon on his head! And I want to look him straight in the eye, and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, bloodsucking, dog-kissing, brainless, pee-pee less, hopeless, heartless, fat-butt, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey poop he is! HALLELUJAH! HOLY Poop! Where's the Tylenol?

You might be like that at 11:20 on Christmas Eve...
