You’d be amazed at how quickly “never a losing season” will turn into “only 1 losing season in 15 years.”

Cowboys of the 90's built their dynasty off a Ditka gamble that went horribly wrong. I want them to win even when my head says if they lose a few games but play hard benefits them in a better draft position. We missed some key people we wanted over the years by being a few spots away. Didn't the Jets take Revis a few spots in front of us? Anyhow, in the remaining games if Pickett plays he cannot take another concussion (if he did have one last week) or his future could really be in doubt. The team does need to determine if any of the bench players have promise.

I'm borderline intelligent..lmao. when the Steelers are on the field of course I want a win, at least a good showing and evaluations that we have something to build on.

That said right now we are in the 8th draft position...that can change dramatically in these last few weeks..so I really don't put any stock in it..we will draft where ever we draft...

But a part of me just wants this never had a losing season crap to end. I would rather have a true vision of where we are...than get a few lucky wins or calls...then have yet another year of talking about MT gloriously getting enough wins to be mediocre.

15 straight non losing seasons is incredibly rare. Especially with Rogers' parity coming about now. In the NFL, there are only 2 teams to have more non losing in a row. The Landry Cowboys and the Pats. 15 in a row is rarified air.
That being said, It's not enough. There need to be playoff wins. I think Tomlin needs to go but, who cares what I think?

What is this mysterious club and how do you know who's in it? Is there a secret handshake? Or, is it just people who disagree with you?

A fun fact: Steelers have to win 2 games to have a higher winning percentage than the Pirates,

Mike Ditka had absolutely nothing to do with the cowboys Super Bowl wins of the 90’s. The 1-15 cowboys traded Hershel Walker to the Vikings. The cowboys draft haul off that trade built their dynasty. The chargers played a role in that trade as well, but still no Ditka.

The only people that keep mentioning the never had a losing season are the haters, and the media brings it up at the beginning of every game, you don't see the Steelers or Tomlin bragging about it.

We could be mathematically eliminated after this game. If so, what is the point of the rest of the season really?

Consider also, the only reason we ever got Ben is we happened to have a bad year (6-10) and were in position to draft him.

Something to think about when there is value in losing even though we don`t intentionally tank like some other organizations to get better draft picks.

I dont like the full on tank , but once eliminated anyone playing hurt should not play ... Your stud RB should be limited anyone healthy due a contract should get all the run they can ....The OC should expand the playbook see what his players can and can't pick up quickly..Same for the D try some new looks try some new blitzes ...

Basically use these games as a kick start to the off season and the future what difference does the score matter at that point..

Look for people responding to posts with nothing other than a ''.

Those are the club members you are looking for.

So are we to play a certain Metallica song if this happens?

7-10 sounds much better to me.

So tell me this. How would losing the rest of our games and getting higher draft picks help if Tomlin is the guy helping to make those picks and developing the players?

    Hmm:hmm:
Matters what albums, and times We are talking about.
Ride the Lightning, and Master Of Puppets are Master pieces.
After that all Megadeth beats Metallica though IMO

Go down swinging. Show some heart. I don't want to watch a team going through the motions that's already planning where they're going for vacation. Not a good look.

That's right, I'm wrong. That's the trade I was thinking of. Ditka's trade was the other dumb one for that other running back that I don't feel looking up at this point but you cleaned up my point. Nice job!
