Bet that Browns Stadium janitorial position is still open since the workforce supply is non-existent out there. :hmm:

McVay said that Mayfield might dress for tonight's game. That's really fast after only signing him less than 24 hours ago.

I heard somewhere that one the systems He was in is really close to what they do. I don't know this for a fact . I just had heard it on either the TV, or radio.
I Myself don't think Mayfield is very good....., but I guess if anyone can get Him right....McVey should be the one.

Strange to see him after 3 plays. But he is giving them a chance. Way too many offensive holding penalties

That was insane! Dude was in there calling check plays late in a game for a team he was only on for 2 days!

Will admit I thought Mayfly was the answer for the Browns when they got him. Obviously wrong but credit to him for what he did last night. Step off a plane, get a quick look at playbook (I'm guessing they made it simpler for this game) and did a damn good job.

Back in 2019 late in the season when Rudolph was injured and Duck was ineffective, Tomlin was asked why Paxton Lynch wasn't playing. He replied that Lynch wasn't familiar with the Steelers system yet. He had been with the team 13 weeks at that point.

Tomlin is far too conservative. Drives me crazy

Baker is who he is at this pint. Pretty unlikely he's ever considered a good QB, although stranger things have happened.
But I'll give him one thing, his teammates always love him. He seems like a fun dude

I could not make it past the game last night. The audio on the Amazon stream is terrible. Al Michaels when they tried to getting the officiating guy to comment - "can't get his microphone to work". The referee makes an announcement on the call - "inaudible" - Al changes the subject...

I think he could’ve been the answer for the Browns but they showed an incredible lack of patience with him and decided they wanted the serial sexual assaulter instead. What a pathetic, classless organization!

Good for Baker. I stopped hating him when he left the division and hate towards him was no longer a mandatory emotion.

Note to 1st round QBs: if the brownies try to pick you in the 1st round, get your old man to pull an Eli Manning. Cleveland is the QB career killer.

I'm not sure they are Qb killers, but they don't help.
I think they just pick badly at the Qb position. I can't really think of a Qb that has failed there that I thought.....Wow.....He should have been great.
