But the season is already wasted this team isn’t contending for a championship they can barely score. Even if they pulled some miraculous 10-7 record because we are playing horrible teams we would play at KC or Buffalo in the playoffs and get beat by 70.

I like You , but by always saying that about Tomlin's streak ....Well it sounds more like..... You ......are worried more about Tomlin's streak than showing We are improving.
I would Love to say look this team can't do anything without Ben.....,but I'm a way bigger Steelers fan than a Ben fan..
So I'm only happy to win, and win as much as possible.
    Also as said before.
How will You truly judge Your team, what You need, and need to let go of ....if You are not trying to win at all cost , and are tanking???
You would never be able to get a real objective observation of the team in the whole.

If the Steelers go 10-7.... it's truly a bizarro world. If that happens... Steelers will upset their first opponent....Chiefs, Bills or Bengals. Win another in the divisional round....and sh!t the bed in the AFC Championship.

    You heard it here first!

That's the way to look at your team in Madden franchise mode... not in the NFL.

We got Ben because the Stains were stupid and took Winslow. I'd rather be on a trajectory of winning as we close out the year than pick a few spots earlier. It doesn't guarantee you of getting a franchise player anyway.

What are y'all talking about? You play to win, but if you do have a down year. As we did. You can benefit from higher draft picks (Talent). I, just gave you all, an example with Ben.

Steelers need either OT or CB in the first round. We got early 2nd round pick thanks to the Bears. Best player available. Khan won't screw this up.

Exactly, three picks in the top 40 looks good to me.

@bradshaw12@bradshaw12 why do you disagree? I want my team to be as competitive as possible. A turd way of thinking, Lets Lose we have a chance of getting a top 5 draft pick. Ascinine.

Yep, was just about to report that. Every little bit helps keep hope alive.

We GOT to beat the Ratbirds to keep the wildcard watch going. Will be depressing if we lose that game. Losing next game would almost guarantee losing season too.

I'm amazed at the concept of making the playoffs is a bad thing with this team. Are we forgetting that Muth and Harris are 2nd year guys, and Pickett and Pickens are rookies. That extra week of practice is a great springboard to success in 23 and beyond. And if we somehow win the first round, that's another week of practice. I'm not saying that this team will make the playoffs, but making the playoffs sorta proves this very young nucleus is further along than meets the eye. Going 9-8 or 10-7 in a perceived rebuilding year is a success.

It’s not Tomlin’s streak it’s the Steelers Streak that dates back to 2004

Im not saying to tank clearly the Steelers have no intentions of doing that but with all the holes we have getting a top 5 pick could be very beneficial to the rebuild. Going 8-9 or 9-8 just has us another year with no playoff wins and a worst pick. I’ve mentioned the one thing it might help is Kenny’s confidence for next season.

So let me guess you think this team is a championship contending unit? Honestly?

My point is say we beat all these crappy sub 500 teams like Indy Atlanta Carolina Raiders and Browns and somehow sweep Ravens minus Lamar make the playoffs then get throttled by a real team…. IMO that hurts the rebuild because we are now drafting early 20s thus not getting a lock and load stud at LT or CB.

Just can't root to lose hoping to get a superstar in the draft. There is no guarantee the pick will work out. I remember how I thought Lawrence was going to be superstar QB and wanted so badly for him to be a Steeler. I know how one and done seems like a waste to a lot of Steeler fans but I take pride in the Steelers having most wins in SB era and I think 2nd most Playoff appearances. As for me I'll take a one and done over a crap season any day.
