I've given him a lot of props, but I am also cautiously optimistic.
The #1 thing that needs to be understood, is that he is above average just for the very fact that they have trusted him to toss the rock 30-45 times in a game.
Yes, there are those picks. They are part of the ride and a lesser QB probably would have thrown twice as many by now.
    Many rookie QB's fall short.
Kenny does have that moxy when coming to the line and he has a nice leadership approach in the huddle. He knows the playbook.
I want to see where this goes.

Looking at the history of Steeler rookie QB's, here are the top 3 passer ratings for rookie QB's who threw more than 100 passes.
    Big Ben - 98.1
    NOD - 78.8
    Duck Hodges - 71.4
The top 3 in TD passes were:
    Ben - 17
    NOD - 11
    Terry Hanratty - 8
    Kent Nix - 8
    Top 3 in yards:
    Ben - 2,621
    NOD - 1,963
    Kent Nix - 1,587
Right now Kenny Pickett has a passer rating of 75.1, has thrown 4 TD's and has 1,797 yards passing. He has an outside chance of breaking Ben's rookie yards passing record. If you're looking for Bradshaw's rookie stats hide your eyes. 6 TD's, 24 picks, 1,410 yards and a 30.4 passer rating.

I don't buy into conspiracy theories very often, but I have also had those thoughts.
Also some will say it was the Wrs fault....yet those same people will blame Ben , and other Qbs for less likely ints....at least on their ints the freaking Wrs is at least in the screen shot. LoL

Neil also made a career for a no-name, no account Dallas DB who never did anything afterwards, except sign a big Free Agency payday.
If anything, he owes Neil some payment.

He also owes the Raiders for being stupid enough to overpay a cornerback just because he caught two balls thrown right at him in the Super Bowl.

He was about to get a huge contract in free agency. He didn't need to throw a game. It would have made no sense at all.

One interception was clearly the WRs fault
